I bought some Chanel Vitalumiere foundation today....

and dd1 was playing with the Chanel lippy testers and when I stopped her she had a massive strop, yelling "BUT I NEEEEEEEED MAKEUP!!!"
she's not three till next month

although Chanel packaging much prettier - so that's the one I leave out on display.

I have it in clair in the pump bottle and its fabulous, and i've just checked in the mirror and i'm stilling looking dewy

It feels icky sticky on your skin and it makes you smell a funny dusty orange scary lady smell.

Just gone and sniffed mine and it smells fab and light and dewy and reminds me of my youth and feeling carefree! Old lady me bottom!!

Please someone remind me to say thankyou to OliveOil for my free sample - it came on Saturday but then I was ill and then I forgot...and I think she only logs on at work.

OK am taking my oily t-zone off to Richmond. Thinking I may cop out and buy usual Botanics foundation and spend the (significant) difference on something else. but we'll see - I'll report back.

Well I really like it. Can't believe some of you are finding it too dry though? Exactly the opposite I'd say. Spent an hour on the chanel counter last night in the trafford centre and the lady was lovely. And not at all orange. Got tonnes of samples (she felt sorry for me cos I've just had a baby and it was my first solo trip since having him!) Also bought a lip gloss and some coco madamoiselle.

Will be trying it tomorrow, also I don't think it smells of anything, and I can be funny about smells.....
