Trying to keep up!
Older DCs had tennis lessons this am then a long play with friends while I chatted to their mum- everyone happy!
I have treated myself to some v expensive steak in an effort to eat plenty of iron.
Thank you v much for the TS Leigh maternity jeans advice icey and blue. Have ordered and received a burgundy pair- lovely soft, stretch material and great colour- will go with lots and can see myself wearing them to death. Tried size 8 and 10 and was v pleased to discover that the size 8 was a much better fit!
hopefully- thanks for thermal vest recommendations- have ordered. Weather is a bit bizarre- two v cold days, then so mild again.
Are you an Autumn? I think that I am a deep Autumn (self diagnosis). If a 2 hr session is possible- (thanks you amber), I might be able to make it! I think it would be more fun with a friend so will have to try to persuade someone , :)
marsha- you do always sound so stylish- totally agree with the others. I love the way you experiment with colour and love the sound of all your lovely designer pieces. VB and Birger always look great to me although don't actually own anything by other designer (not yet anyway).
Lovely Pure silk shirts carciofi and NYE. I wanted one in the red but waited too long and now all sold out. Exciting about your training NYE. I have been perusing the HOC website to see what is available in my area.
red- v exciting news re your kitchen and icey you too! Dauphin- I think the planning is the most exciting part in a way. You have a lovely kitchen to look forward to! Icey- reflux is horrible. I assume that you are already on the gaviscon/ peptac so ranitidine/ omeprazole would be the next step. I imagine that you would need to get it prescribed though- worth calling the GP if you haven't already.
fleecy- fabulous pink jeans and VW dress- great colours!
MrsCB- although lavender is not for me (prefer bright/ deep colours), I love the DI and imagine that they would look great on someone with the right colouring.
bloss- did you have a good cycle ride? Congratulations on your weight loss too.
zembo- can't remember if I already said congratulations on the permanent job for your DH. I have only been to Glasgow once but really liked and some lovely houses; my friend has one as you describe. Chinese lantern parade sounds fun- tis NY soon right?
pickled- wonderful to hear that you DD enjoyed her music scholarship interview! I used to do lots of music when I was younger and I absolutely loved it. My younger brother had one though and possibly my sister- can't quite remember now (my school wasn't posh enough for proper music scholarships). My older DC don't seem terribly interested in classical music- more into chart stuff and street dancing. DD2 (nearly 3) does seem musically inclined though. She really enjoys it when I play classical music and seems to immediately understand the spirit of the piece (by comments or the way she dances to it). Will have to wait and see...
Hello to everyone else that I have missed.
