Amber you are gorgeous! (and have a lovely complexion).

Emo can't see your photo, would love to.

Well no great secret my ds2 was a nightmare for two years. Congestion meant he woke very, very often for bf'ding to help him breathe. It was pretty much hideous, but he has grown out of it and I feel more normal.

Dauphin · 16/01/2012 10:30

Hello.

Very lazy morning...as very rare occasion where DH took little ones to school.

Had drinks with friends at weekend where I unearthed my Gap coated jeans, and wore with Jigsaw sheer blouse and thermal vest, with R & B shoe boots (again not worn v often).

Wrapped up in grey cashmere poncho, winter white cashmere tee, indigo skinnies and Hush socks. Off to PO so will put new padded Maxmara coat (which is toasty) on, and Timberland boots.

Saw your post about Mulberry Mrscb and couldn't agree more. Am rather grumpy about their silly price structure and quality too. Most are a bit too bling (apart from the Effie, of course). I alsolike AH, Longchamp and Chloe.

I am currently hankering after a Brora casmere blanket for the bed in grey/oatmeal...and more thermals....

Red - may be able to do zoo - when are you thinking of...? Would be lovely to meet up.

Am focussed on getting DH kitted out for Norway where he is going for a week soon. North Face and thermal everything I think. Right, catch you later, DD beckons....

Have added you icey

Thanks for all the kind comments!

carciofi · 16/01/2012 10:52

Your outfit sounds lovely. I agree about Mulberry though thinking again about the Alexa bag. I wasn't too keen on it at first but I like it on Wendy!

notyummy · 16/01/2012 10:59

Ladies - look what I found at H and M:

Coated skinnies.

Even more bargainous coated skinnies. Have ordered one of each to see. Seems a bit too good to be true. But seeing as the Whistles ones are too short and Gap doesn't have any (sob) of my favourites.....

blue2711 · 16/01/2012 11:06

carciofi I absolutely love my oak Alexa; it really does give me lots of pleasure and I use it almost every day. It seems to work with everything else. DH picked it himself as a surprise and I actually wasn't too sure at first but quickly grew to adore it.

Love the sound of your cosy outfit dauphin. DS and I are both still in pyjamas! Love Monday mornings. DH keeps us so busy at weekends that I always plan a really quiet start to the week.

Just got email from Reiss saying my blouse is out of stock. Why let me order it then? Disappointed and bit annoyed (though no-one said they liked it do perhaps lucky escape?!)

Enjoyed hearing about style day hopefully. Sounds really constructive. Absolutely no idea what I would be. Feeling a bit chastened after reading on another S and B thread about how dreadful WIT's spotty trousers, pink chinos and leopard studded flats are... I love all three!

loobylu3 · 16/01/2012 11:07

Can I see the photos too, amber and emo.

Amber, fingers crossed that she may be turning the corner. Personally, I am rubbish with a chronic lack of sleep and my babies were never the type to have a boob popped in their mouths and go straight back to sleep so I put them in a cradle/cot after the first few weeks. Having said that, the two older ones in particular like to sleep with us regularly and are rubbish at bed time (partly my fault as I am quite relaxed now and partly the fact that they need less sleep than average and it seems harder and harder to fit everything in when they get older)! Whatever works for you is best. :)

hopefully- I made a mistake with the types. I think I am a classic not a natural.

blue2711 · 16/01/2012 11:11

Agree with everyone about amber. Ridiculously young and pretty!

loobylu3 · 16/01/2012 11:11

Thank you, NY, for the DVD link. I am never going to manage as much exercise as you but some is better than none, right? :)

AmberNectarine · 16/01/2012 11:11

I saw that thread blue, but you know this is the only thread that counts!

blue2711 · 16/01/2012 11:12

Can't see you emo.

notyummy · 16/01/2012 11:14

Looby - if I was juggling a job and 3 children with another on the way, I doubt that I would do as much exercise as I do Smile.

I agree amber! I don't like everything WIT wears but do like her passion for clothes and having a bit of fun with them. Not ready to just aim for neat and presentable quite yet, even if I do make mistakes!

notyummy · 16/01/2012 11:17

Blue - I have had a similar experience just now to you and your blouse. Just found this BR silk dress that I liked and said they had in a 10....but when I try and order it says sold out. Why tempt me then??

ApuskiMcClusky · 16/01/2012 11:17

Looby I have Davina pre and post pregnancy DVD (at least I think so, I found the box but the DVD wasn't in it) - assuming I can find it you're welcome to it, I won't be needing it again!

NY, good spot, might be good for a try-out!

AmberNectarine · 16/01/2012 11:24

I liked your blouse blue, shame they don't have it! I also liked the dress red linked to.

looby have added you!

ReineDeSaba · 16/01/2012 12:54

amber you are the bobby dazzler I knew you'd be Smile
fingers crossed your DD is turning a corner on the sleep front.

emo would love to see your profile pic.

ollie a lego party sounds great..we are very unoriginal here-DD1 wants a fairy party so currently trying to think of good ideas for that..any help appreciated!

also I keep remember mrollies 'happy wife, happy life' ..even better marriage advice than 'committed' me thinks!

ants sorry you are feeling so utterly rotten

annie brilliant idea re-clothes re-routeing.

I do think in terms of forever dresses now..only a couple of years left in me of bare arms and the dreaded knees!I have a couple of DVFs which fit the bill.

bloss and NYE do you watch 'the great bake-off' ..I suspect Mary Berry too is involved in the dark arts of colour..I think she looks great!

hopefully the anglomania is divine, glad it was a great style day.

issima stick around!

Afternoon all, have a heavily sleeping DD and some time to myself. Hurrah!

Amber you are indeed a very pretty lady!

Hopefully you sounds reinvigorates after your style day - I love, love the VW dress - think you'll get a lot of pleasure from having that in your wardrobe.

MiM - not to worry! I had a moment like that in my book club where the penny dropped on the ending of a novel, but did so in front of everyone! How they all laughed. Haven't quite ordered the breton yet - I know I'd wear it loads but am doing my classic thing of going back to it lots.

Blue that is so very annoying about the Reiss blouse. Couldn't agree more about WIT - she does get it wrong from time to time but at least she is having fun and being playful with her outfit choices.

Dauphin any time for us really - the window between 1 and 3 each afternoon is good for me. MrsCB would this work for you? Perhaps a Friday so Apuski could make it?

I shredded on Saturday morning and vomited immediately afterwards. I hadn't eaten anything so was most bizarre. Was a bit dodgy all weekend though so may be why. Will be back on it tonight; I really do feel instantly better after just one session (bar vomiting, of course).

Am dithering about the VB dress - I love it, but I know it is likely to be worn once or twice and never again and have too many dresses like that already. I have seen a lovely dress in Reiss that I know I'd wear loads as it is much more casual -my family are all a bit on the casual side so it may work for the 90th, is here.

AmberNectarine · 16/01/2012 13:27

Don't want to come to MU now as will invariably have had a rough night and spoil your illusions by looking haggard!

Have finally dragged myself out of lovely new hush pjs and am wearing J Brand jodhpurs, cream and plum breton, purple Supergas, Mulberry fox necklace and big leopard scarf. Ignoring dodgy socks with purple poodles on...

AmberNectarine · 16/01/2012 13:30

Like that dress red has Anglomania vibe to it. Shocking styling suggestion from Reiss with the White blazer though. Hmmm, nautical but not-so-nice...

That Leron dress is not a bad price for DvF. I like it in navy and teal.

Reine, don't think you will need to cover up for many years yet!

I like the dress, Red. I bought the Mini Boden version of the dress you and Mim were looking at, DD1 loves it.

Blue, ignore that thread! I was thinking of the tan Alexa. I might sell my east west bayswater and put the money towards it.
