I have been reading .....

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/style_and_beauty/1156122-Project-Princess/AllOnOnePage

Fab thread and so inspiring!

Is anyone still doing this?

I am trying to add in the good habits from the thread into my life and wondered how well all the posters had done in their changes?

How did you find the nanoblur Snapespeare? I saw this in boots and was thinking about buying it but am on a tight budget so didnt want to waste £20 on something else that doesnt work.

TheReturnoftheSmartArse · 01/11/2011 11:17

I would love to take more care of myself. I am definitely looking more than my age. Sad I'm exhausted having read through most of this thread and wondering how the hell you all find time to do all of this?! Confused

IwoulddoPachacuti · 01/11/2011 11:25

Marking my place so I can have a good old read of this later. Need to try and improve myself a lot bit

catinboots · 01/11/2011 13:32

Sudocream facemask - I normally do it onve a week when I'm princessing not being slovenly

I put a thin layer all over my face, just enough so I look very pale. Then I leave it on for a few hours/overnight.

Makes skin so so soft and gets rid of spots, dry patches and I think helps with fine lines.

catinboots · 01/11/2011 13:32

*once a week

mathanxiety · 01/11/2011 13:32

I think I was a little heavy handed with the lemon this morning -- how bracing a citrussy flavour are we aiming for here?
Have done most of the list for the last two days, with the exception of the chocolate (Halloween) and wine (ditto) and haven't had any fish yet.
No idea when I'll have a chance to get the eyelash stuff and I'm working up to the 8 glasses a day gradually.
Exercise -- have fished the old mini stair climber out from under the bed.

architien · 01/11/2011 14:07

Argan oiled hair. It's drying just now.
I've been upping my water intake, almonds, omega 3 and multi vit.

Whitestrips bought. Will be trying them tonight. Oh Lord I hope I don't do something silly wrong with them. I don't like the idea of peroxide Confused

I've got a weekend away with a very critical person on 11th so I could do with getting myself feeling confident. Shiny hair and white teeth should be a good start.

Must try harder on the lemon morning, salmon and daily exercise.
2 year old and 6 month old hanging from me is sort of slowing me down bad excuse I know

Snapespeare · 01/11/2011 14:27

nanoblur. works a little bit - certainly doesn't take ten years off of me! (but it is in 3 for 2... I look healthier/better/younger with benetint and their pore blasting stuff or bare escentuals.

possibly my forehead lines are too deep for nanoblur to cope with!

sobloodystupid · 01/11/2011 17:21

Oh please can I join. I've been kind of doing some of the above, but the tips re dettol, sudacream, Moroccan Oil are fab. Please keep them coming. Can we have a motivational review date? so i can say on 1 December, lashes are like a Jersey cows, lines gone etc..

bucaneve · 01/11/2011 17:36

I have pretty much done nothing Blush. Plus have eaten a ton of halloween sweets. No wait, I did buy new foundation.
Have been having an essay crisis though. When this lot's all handed in I shall go back to being groomed and beautiful Hmm

architien · 01/11/2011 17:39

Indian head massage, herbal facial and eyebrows threaded due to be done. Called beautician's number no answer no returned call call salon that they work inassociation with and it puts me through to the tuneful notes of a fax machine. I do believe 'i shouldn't have bought that groupon voucher afterall. Delightful.

BlackSwan · 01/11/2011 18:02

mathanxiety - I like my lemon water nice and sour. One lemon per glass.

sobloodystupid you're in & I like your suggestion. Dec 1 is our official review date.

bucaneve - essay shmessay. No more sweets!

architen, great customer service at your beautician. Will need a stress relieving massage on top of all the other stuff.

In lieu of an expensive facial I decided to invest in this mud based Deep Cleansing Mask by Omorovicza www.omorovicza.com/uk/product-use/natural-facial-treatments/deep-cleansing-mask.html. Also got a trial of their Copper Peel: www.omorovicza.com/uk/product-use/natural-facial-treatments/copper-peel.html
Will be slapping on one of them tonight.

TheGrassIsJewelled · 01/11/2011 18:34

Can I have a linky to your Moroccan oils again?

Did get some Batiste dry shampoo so there should be no more ubergreasy days like today.

blobtobetter · 01/11/2011 18:40

The Dr Perricone books I ordered (cheap!!) from Amazon sellers arrived today. I think I am going to give it a go as it sounds like it could help with quite a few skin issues I have. Aiming to figure out what to eat, shop on Friday and then do the 3 day start up diet from Saturday. Going to faff with it a bit to make it easier and cheaper!

Has anyone tried the Imedeen tablets? I am tempted but they are rather expensive!

Upping my water intake too. Also wondering if it is possible to overdose on salmon?! Perricone recommends quite a lot of it!

I need to write out the princess rules and put them somewhere I will see them. Oooo maybe a copy at home and one at work to remind me.

On your recommendation, BlackSwan I have ordered some optident gel and trays.

BlackSwan · 01/11/2011 22:32

I truly hope you like the results perceptionreality - did you order it from your dentist?

IwoulddoPachacuti · 01/11/2011 22:53

Right, have read through the thread and I'm in. I've been feeling really down recently, and tend to suffer low self-esteem so whilst this will not cure it, it will help me follow a healthier life style

I've drank about 1.5 litres of water today, and I'm working on kicking my coke zero habit. Im sitting with a faceful of sudocream and have all over body brushed, moisturised, slapped loads of cream and bed socks on my feet.

I've also ordered the crest Atropos and the Moroccan oil. I will look flabby Christmas!

Just need to work on the diet and exercise now Blush had nothing but junk today, but that will change tomorrow. I have started taken multi vitamins in the last week.

I wash my face in the mornings with Johnston's exfoliating face wash. It's great for my dry skin and not too harsh Smile

BlackSwan · 01/11/2011 22:57

Iwoulddo...Christ, for a second there I thought you were kicking a different coke habit. Trust also you didn't mean 'flabby' at Christmas? Great to have you on board.

IwoulddoPachacuti · 01/11/2011 23:22

GrinGrin bloody iPhone!! Fabby, fabby! Flabby is what I don't want!!

Glad to be onboard Wink

perceptionreality · 02/11/2011 00:10

No, from a website. I hope this will be ok! My dentist is good actually and is into teeth whitening as well as the more mundane stuff so perhaps I should have gone there. I didn't think...

flipflopflap · 02/11/2011 10:04

Fell off the princessing wagon big style this weekend, had a wedding and a family gathering so ate and drank far too much. Anyway, back on in now, Healthy breakfast, hot water and vitamins all done this morning. Back to pointing (weight watchers) today too. Hoping a very good week makes up for a bad weekend Hmm
