There are so many pretty thing in the sales but the weather is so atrocious I have forbidden myself from buying any more SS. I saw these ankle boots, they are a nicer colour in RL, the camel has a pink tone and the gold is quite subtle. I think they might be useful, but I tend to go for grey as a neutral rather than camel. They would be fab on a blond with golden legs I think!

Now, I have debated whether to write this next bit, apologies if TMI, but I had been putting off going for my smear test for way too long. I heard of a friend who had a scare recently and that prompted me to make the appointment. It was uncomfortable for 42 seconds, I was counting! I am an idiot for avoiding it, and just want to prompt you all into going for yours

This wont help you until 2012 but this is the diary I have and love here its designed for home and work, a week to view on each double page - one side for work, other for home etc. Good size, useful wallets and pages for notes etc. Their family calender is good too.

I conveniently forgot that my date tonight with DH involves attending a law firm's summer party . Maybe the jumpsuit would be pushing it a bit, especially as I don't have a blazer or anything suitably formal to wear on top. Maybe I'll wear Boss cocktaily black silk dress with feather detail round neckline or navy Janice. Both require Spanx as I cannot seem to shift the few pounds I have put on, arghh!
