just watching documentary on BBC2 full of boys in mascara
Marc Bolan mmmmm

mummylonglegs · 30/10/2005 21:53

And I'm hairy.

I should've been a bloke really.

QueenVictoria · 30/10/2005 21:54

PMSL HC!

bobbybob · 30/10/2005 21:54

I probably would look better with makeup on. But then I would look Sooooooooo tired when I didn't wear it.

Talking of blokes with make-up on. I once put some mascara on dp's eyelashes while he was sleeping. Then I forgot about it and he went out and met up with his boss. I didn't remember until he got home and I saw it. I couldn't bear to tell him. But as he's quite fair it would've been very obvious and I've always wondered what his boss thought ...

motherinferior · 30/10/2005 21:56

I am wincing at the very thought. And it's not, ahem, necessary

frannykenstein · 30/10/2005 21:57

Ooh hc. Maybe I will try and get the tv working after all, I have come over a bit heavy breathing at the mention of Mr. Bolan...

MrsSpoon · 30/10/2005 21:58

I think I would have to have at least a local anaesthetic before I would let anyone with wax near my nether regions but Immac or careful shaving with a good, sharp razor dos the trick.

edam · 30/10/2005 21:59

PMSL at boundary dispute buffy, is yours made of leylandii?

Putting on my tedious old feminist hat, why do we have this obsession with obliterating all female body hair? It's removal of all evidence that you are an adult, isn't it? Which is quite creepy, really.

edam, your hat is not tedious. I totally agree. Personally I love female body hair and am always glad to see it in abundance.

hunkermunker · 30/10/2005 22:01

Apparently you can have your arse bleached too (yes, there). Dear lord, the lengths some people go to (am sure there's a double entendre there, but cannot hunt for it for fear of ruining my reputation)

edam · 30/10/2005 22:01

I once went to get my legs waxed and the beautician did one side of my knicker line as well without asking. (Or maybe she just really disapproved of my let 'em all hang out approach). So I had to let her do the other side too. Felt really weird...

motherinferior · 30/10/2005 22:02

Yep, I'm with your hat, edam.

buffytheharpsichordcarrier · 30/10/2005 22:03

immac on the vulva - hmmm, chemical weaponry on the most sensitive area of the body - I would say NOT.
shaving leads to shaving rash and pimples and embarrassing public scratching.
wax is for candles.
in extremis I have been known to wield a small pair of hedge trimmers, I mean, nail scissors.

motherinferior · 30/10/2005 22:04

And who's looking????

hunkermunker · 30/10/2005 22:05

No, it's true - quite popular with a certain, er, less than fussed about wearing clothing kind of model, shall we say? Apparently, as I say

God, I read all the wrong papers, don't I?!

puff · 30/10/2005 22:06

Yes, hunker is right, anal bleaching - saw a programme about this.

That is actually more reassuring than if it were real people, IYSWIM.

I trim, because if I don't, when I go for a smear test, the nurse has to fold the hair to one side.
