PlumSykes · 03/02/2011 14:45

Oooh, how much is the lively dress? Is sold out online, so no price showing.

mrsjuan · 03/02/2011 14:46

Will try the troll pose but imagine it will make me look like, well a troll! How tall are you roman?

Bonsoir · 03/02/2011 14:46

Envy my legs are too old and veiny for bare Sad

A coaching job - one I've been angling for for ages! But I can't say more, it has to remain ultra-secret!

Romanholiday · 03/02/2011 14:48

Not sure MrsJuan I used to be 5'10" when at school/uni but I think you shrink a bit as you get older don't you? Probably 5'9"

macmama · 03/02/2011 14:54

Thanks Roma! I had already seen photo of you and your arms so knew you were a babe... But yes legs are fab!

pickledsiblings · 03/02/2011 14:59

Roman, great legs!

Marsha, why did you have to say that shorts are for slim legs?? My legs are the opposite of slim and tres tres short and I think I look OK in shorts

Bonsoir, we won't tell anyone Smile. Coaching??

Cardiff/Welsh Ladies, I need your help. It's to do with a proposed school closure in the Whitchurch area. Do any of you have any insight?

OllieWollieWoo · 03/02/2011 15:02

Oh yes, the talk by the sex therapist at the Mums group today was quite an eye opener - my face started out like this Blush then Confused followed by Hmm and a Shock ending with a Smile. If I implement her tips, DH's face will be like Grin

pickledsiblings · 03/02/2011 15:03

More details required OWW Smile

Bonsoir · 03/02/2011 15:04

ROFL OWW. Where was this group? My sister is in the Netherlands and could seriously do with some of that!

Bonsoir · 03/02/2011 15:06

pickledsiblings - I've had a sideline in senior management coaching for ages now. Very mini part-time and I only do jobs that really interest me these days - basically ones where there is really strong bi/multicultural gulf to overcome!

MarshaBrady · 03/02/2011 15:12

Pickled sorry good legs! good legs! I bet you have good legs.

and I bet the shorts look good on you. Not deluded at all.

sounds interesting OWW

MarshaBrady · 03/02/2011 15:13

Am waiting for a delivery (from NaP has been a week...) don't let it turn up the minute I do the school run..

Romanholiday · 03/02/2011 15:16

Bonsoir I want to do that, I love coaching. Did you train, and do you like it?

OWW give us all the details, please.

roary · 03/02/2011 15:17

OWW clearly we need more details.

NY will you have to wait on the jobs because of DH's job or can you choose now? Also meant to say my DH has had the same thing as your post run...ahem...runs happen with too much fibre, not enough water, and a hard run.

Roma your furry friend has good legs too.

I want shorts. Tweedy ones. RIGHT NOW. Anyone have a link?

Romanholiday · 03/02/2011 15:19

roary I got some in H&M. I don't wear them often as am not sure about footwear. What do others wear?

roary · 03/02/2011 15:21

I would wear brogues, i think. or my leopard plimsolls. Or any flat shoe....

We have no H&M here but will check online.

Bonsoir · 03/02/2011 15:22

Roman - it grew out of another job I did, where I ended up coaching CEOs in return for them letting me use their companies as material for cases for executive education programmes. And before that I had been a strategy consultant, which is all about coaching CEOs/senior management. And I'm one of life's natural busybodies, who just loves pointing out to all and sundry what their next best move might be! I only get jobs through word of mouth.

hf128219 · 03/02/2011 15:22

Zembo What a shock for you. Please take care.

Roma Great legs!

Oooh I looked at that Whistles dress today. It is nice. I also liked the horse prints - pretty cream blouse.

Bonsoir · 03/02/2011 15:29

Do I like it? Yes, I do, but I am aware that I no longer do it for bread & butter, just for fun/to keep my hand in, and that is a huge luxury. There are lots of dire coaching jobs out there - all sorts of no-hopers - and you could quite quickly get disillusioned. I'm sure it's a good job as part of a portfolio of services - I think that public speaking/motivating jobs would be very compatible, and I ought to develop that (though my DP is the one who is talented in that particular field - I'm good at one-to-one, he's good at one-to-thousands!).

OllieWollieWoo · 03/02/2011 15:30

Well, if you insist. Gather round ladies....
Basically she said we should be giving it up around 3 times a week (apparently studies have shown this naturally satisfies most men) along with little extras - such as when DH comes home from work, helping him de-stress & relax for the evening by a having (hope I'm not going to lower the tone of this thread here) quickie/hj whilst the kids are watching TV before dinner/bedtime. We should play a more active role in planning for s*x by scheduling it in our diaries and letting DH know in advance so he can look forward to it. She also suggested things like sex holidays (nights/trips away where you don't leave the hotel room), flirty texts/emails whilst he is at work and she strongly advised the purchasing of sexy undies and allowing your partner to 'touch' you when you are, for example cooking dinner! Shock
It was v interesting but basically all about how the woman (ie us) needs to meet his needs and how we should be more upfront with partners about our own needs - so nothing earth shatteringly new but it livened up a Thursday morning! She recommended a book called Sheet Music which several others had read and said it was v good.
DH asked if we had any homework to do! Er, no!

pickledsiblings · 03/02/2011 15:33

Follow that advice and there'd be no need to shred Wink

Bonsoir · 03/02/2011 15:35

I already do the sexy underwear and stuff in the kitchen bit (plus strolling around in underwear at weekend) but I must check with DP whether he wants a HJ when he walks in from the office Grin

geordieminx · 03/02/2011 15:45

Sorry to post and run.... Navy Janice, size up or down? Sized down in striped?

PlumSykes · 03/02/2011 15:46

God, sounds a bit archaic, OWW. Any suggestion of him doing anything for you, sexual or otherwise, to make you feel more like being frisked/putting out/sending him 'sexy' emails? All a bit like a 50s guide to keeping your man for me.

Maybe I'm a bit of a soap-boxer on such issues, but I really feel that even in a marriage, a woman should be having sex with her husband because she wants to, not because she ought to.

notyummy · 03/02/2011 15:47

Bonsoir - what do you think the answer to that queation would be from most men....?

Roary - Unfortunately I only have 2 days to decide on jobs....and DH wont know until April/may time where he is likely to be from July onwards so the timelines just dont fit. I am just going to accept this one, and if needs be, move on after only a few months - not ideal. Hmm
