New thread..

OP posts:

Pickled I think I love the white leather. Can you remind me what shape you are? Am interested to know whether it might suit me too.

LOL at jackdaws too. Very Hitchcock.

loobylu3 · 09/02/2011 22:17

bloss- I actually just want a few pretty, wearable Summer dresses- maybe that one is a bit too special to be classes as wearable! Still, am tempted to try as I love the print!
mac- you are so right- this thread is v dangerous. There are too many pretty things which I never knew existed! :)

TheAllNewOoooh · 09/02/2011 22:18

Vin if it were me, I'd get the suit.

I like walking into important meetings feeling like the mutts nuts and would constantly wonder if other people could see that my suit was mismatched even if they couldn't give two hoots about it.

Okay, I will buy and try!
Most things seem to be going back at the mo anyway so that is my excuse!

mrsj- I tried on the silk drape dress- your first link in yellow. The material is nice but I found it really unflattering on- made the tummy look v bulky and I don't even have a big tummy really!

The gold sequin dress is a bargain mac and there are several other nice things there, I think.

That cardigan is utterly vile, isn't it! How could they get it so wrong with such a delicate dress.

redllamayellowllama · 09/02/2011 22:24

Love the dress Looby, as anniemac said, it is very versatile. Buy!
Also, love the Mint Velvet blouse. Can't do blouses really. Shame.

Also very keen on the blue dress MrsJ. In fact, am really enjoying nearly all of the Warehouse links. Will be interested to see what their Luxe stuff is like.

Have spent half the evening applying for a job that I think could provide the perfect break from home and finance my A&W habit. Fingers crossed!

Fleecy · 09/02/2011 22:25

Sounds good llama

As an aside from fashion, has anyone else noticed how all the gypsy brides have massive boobs? What's that all about? Do they only film the well-endowed brides?

TheAllNewOoooh · 09/02/2011 22:28

Yes urgh to the hideous brown cardie.

Must do work now. 10.30 and still a contract to draft. Tell me to bugger off if I reappear, please. Even if I'm sneaky and appearing on other threads....

Fingers and toes firmly crossed for you llama.

pickledsiblings · 09/02/2011 22:28

Ooooh, I am lacking in height and very short of arm; Absolutely useless for comparing 'fits' with Smile. What I like about that particular jacket is that the sleeves would look cuff length on me Grin.

On your stunning figure I am sure it would look great.

redllamayellowllama · 09/02/2011 22:29

Fleecy - my friend and I were discussing this very thing. Who knows?!

E-bay mavens. Things are getting tense on my active selling page. Am determined to sell my Whistles dress which has got a day and a half left on it. I've had 3 bids but am still £24 shy of said reserve. But, I've got 57 people watching it. To lower reserve or not?

God, I've just bored myself reading that.

TheAllNewOoooh · 09/02/2011 22:37

I'd keep the price up llama

mrsjuan · 09/02/2011 22:37

red - I think I might be watching your dress Blush!

mrsjuan · 09/02/2011 22:38

Damn you ooh for trying to spoil my bargain! Be gone Grin

Well MrsJ, so are 56 others. You may want to get in there! Wink

monkeysmama · 09/02/2011 22:46

Vin what size are you? I have a stack of suits I haven't worn for years if you want to borrow one an spend the money on other stuff! Happy to send you a few (or even to meet with our LOs) if you want.

Fleecy · 09/02/2011 22:46

Umm, I think I might be watching it too Blush

It's very pretty!

redllamayellowllama · 09/02/2011 22:54

Right you two, a bit of Gypsy Wedding inspired knuckle-fighting is in order I think.

monkeysmama · 09/02/2011 23:04

Tracey I'm touched you remember my bird issues (I remember your incidents too) Too much bird and, ugh feather stuff for me.
