Aggguuuuggggghhhh. Awful!

carciofi · 09/02/2011 21:18

Vino, definitely get a suit ... Sportsmax and Theory both do great ones. I like the top.

blossoming · 09/02/2011 21:23

Well done mrsjuan. Keep it up!!
carciofi, I agree that returns service is awful with IO, but I love this season's catalogue. It could have been designed with me in mind! I'm writing a list as we speak!
vino, you so need a new suit.

Fleecy I think that bird print dress might have to come home with me! So pretty. Well birdspotted! Grin

pickledsiblings · 09/02/2011 21:25

Well done Mrs J, I'm proud of you Smile

MarshaBrady, you naughty girl, and you too vin.

pickledsiblings · 09/02/2011 21:30

Fleecy and Ooooh, more birds.

traceybath · 09/02/2011 21:31

There's birds everywhere - no good for bird phobics like MM and myself.

carciofi · 09/02/2011 21:32

Bloss, it doesn't put me off ordering from them either. Unfortunately, Dh would say. Good luck with the distance learning role.

Apuski, I think glasses are adorable on little kids. My niece has worn glasses since age 3 or 4 and has never been teased.

mrsjuan · 09/02/2011 21:36

So pretty pickled - I love that. And the shell version. Definitely need some birds in my life this season.

pickledsiblings · 09/02/2011 21:38

Tracey, are you a bird phobic then? I mean't to ask you, did you have a sludgy grey New Look pleather Jacket last season that you replaced with a black leather one? What do you think of this white leather jacket? I think I love it, and these shoes.

I am indeed bird phobic to an astonishing degree - and I am the person who returned form holiday last year to find 2 jackdaws in my sitting room [aaagghhh]

I had new look black pleather jacket but love that stone one. Although am not feeling the general mn love for mint velvet.

Oh and today I am wearing new j brands and new red silk hof shirt I linked to on last thread - looks lovely and spring like if I say so myself Wink

PlumSykes · 09/02/2011 21:53

Have spent entire evenign trying to set up Twitter account to link to blog. Can't do it, have blogged instead.

loobylu3 · 09/02/2011 21:54

Lovely links everyone!

olllie- great DP trousers- definitely worth a try!

fleecy- I saw that pretty bird print dress the other day in Warehouse but didn't try as decided I wanted something slightly brighter/ lighter for SS. I noticed someone else buy in whilst I was in the shop so I'm sure it will fly off the shelves.

plum- the silk dress and blouse are lovely. I don't think they had them in stock in my (small) local branch. I am going to have to get your Reiss lace T (great find) but perhaps next month :)

vin- really pretty blouse. You do need a really good suit if you are going for a top legal job. HC you can get away with a lot more :)
I had a v sexy SA dentist once. He just something about him it and every single female seemed to notice. I overheard a v loud conversation after he left the practice between a couple of elderly ladies (late 70s- early 80s) saying how gorgeous he was and how sorry they were he had left!

zembo- the size 8 Brora was actually okay on me. It was just getting it off! I have to say that I can't imagine paying £135 for the dress. It was quite pretty but really nothing special.

Also tried on this today. The close fit of the bottom section is lovely but less keen on the top and I thought the quality was poor so it is going back. I am probably keeping this which should be useful in the warmer weather.

Can I have some opinions on this dress please? They also have a gorgeous powder blue colour in case anyone else is interested.
They have quite a few other really pretty things which seem to have just gone into the sale- Birger dresses and this top which is v pretty too.
So, what do you think wise ones? :)

LOL at the jackdaws.

I have the New Look grey pleather and it is so versatile. Perhaps it is time to invest in a leather one. Is the stone leather one a bit 'look at me' ish though?

That red shirt is lovely tracey. I haven't tried j brands yet.

blossoming · 09/02/2011 22:04

You're on a roll this week plum! Great you're blogging again.
looby, I'd say it's worth a go at that price. Do you want it for anything in particular?

I remember your bird incident tracey. Am not bird phobic myself but not a fan of anything close up that flaps - so not mad on keen on them. Once ran out of a butterfly enclosure in a blind panic

I love those MV shoes, very nice and quite versatile I'd have thought.

Don't have any advice on interview wear vin so not sure whether to yay or nay new suit.

Outfit sounds lovely tracey - I do like a splash of colour to buck up clothes in winter.

pickledsiblings · 09/02/2011 22:13

Looby, the dress is really pretty. You've reminded me that there is an Anna quite near us Smile.
