Vino, good luck with the interviews. And the dentist. :)

Bloss, Isabella Oliver customer service is pants.

Well done, Mr Kildare!

Monkeysmama, enjoy your break away.

MarshaBrady · 09/02/2011 18:12

yes it's funny when you see the dhl man every day. Imagine needing to have a pool boy or something.

I did have a rather 'in love' dream about a father at school the other day. Aaaargh I can't even say that out loud!!!

carciofi · 09/02/2011 18:13

Everything, I will post the scarf to you tomorrow.

heeheehee a dream is giving me the guilts!

and he is too good looking too

PlumSykes · 09/02/2011 18:23

Evening.

Finally collected the Reiss lace top. def worth the wait, it's lovely.

Also did a quick sprint to Zara, got the Breton tee in my size, thisorangey red dress and some sale sandals for £15, an old gold metallic with a cone heel, will be great with opaques and my leopard dress.

Returned the navy harems to Warehouse, and spotted this silky dress, which is gorgeous, as is this. Neither any good for me unless I get Shredding though. Looked at the stripe dress, but was disappointed it's knitted, rather than a thick jersey. Too warm for spring, I should think. And yet again very short-why don't the shops realise how ugly my knees are?!

Fleecy · 09/02/2011 18:48

plum how funny - I bought that knotted dress too. Tried it on in store yesterday but it was too big so I ordered it online at 4.30 yesterday and it arrived at 8.15 this morning!

I thought it might be a good meet-up option?

I also bought this which is going back as it's see through and for £80 I would have expected it to be lined, this which is actually very cute and this which is going back because what I thought was draping is actually the fringing and I don't like it.

redllamayellowllama · 09/02/2011 19:08

Oooh, we're basically going to end up with the same wardrobe. Love the FC playsuit, am very tempted by it.

MM, boots are lovely. Buy, buy.

I ended up getting the bright blue Reiss lace and I love it, but am struggling with styling. Coated skinnies and heeled pumps works for an evening look, but wanted it to serve a daytime function. Any thoughts?

Shane about the halter dress Fleecy, could have been a good 'un. Love the bird print; was eyeing it up on Saturday.

Vin, will think no more of it. The dentist, eh?! Grin

monkeysmama · 09/02/2011 19:46

Plum I already had that top & dress on order! How funny. Am not shredded though so may go straight back. I have the striped dress & like the fact it's knitted. It's v thin so I thought it'd be good for spring. I've worn it with leggings and it's nice though it's not a look I usually go for. Comfy & pretty forgiving.

I also have the navy harems. Too thin for this weather though.

Just made and eaten a lovely asparagus & prawn risotto. Bed for dd now then Mad Men Grin.

traceybath · 09/02/2011 19:49

Oh I've been looking at the silky warehouse dress for days. May have to order . . .

Vin I'm sure you've thought of this already, but in my experience in an interview you have to present yourself as though you already have the job so that they can see you in the role; so if interview 1 is for the job with the large salary I think you should be wearing a really well cut suit, could you borrow one? I think that your blouse is really pretty and that it would be great under a suit. I hope that's of some help and doesn't sound patronising Smile, best of luck Grin.

PlumSykes · 09/02/2011 20:16

Vin, it's not til next week. Just buy another suit already!

You've got some beautiful clothes Vin! Hope you get a flat to put them all in soon. I think you should develop some mystery toothaches over the next few months Grin

Love the links - good to see the SS things coming into play.

I especially like:

OWW's trousers
Fleecy's bird dress
MM's boots
Petit's blouse
and Zembo's feather necklace and belt.

Bloss - I am after a jersey blazer but the barbour looks like it might be a bit boxy. Have you seen a slightly longer line one anywhere? Tutoring / distance learning option sounds good, especially for meantime. I love interactive whiteboard - lots of potential for languages& with a bit of initial instruction you can work quite a lot out for yourself just by playing around a bit. Powerpoint is also very adaptable for interactive stuff.

I'm getting mildly panicky about MOAMU as still don't have anything to wear either for evening or day having chucked / charity shopped most of my day wardrobe in a fit of annoyance the other week! Also can't stop eating at the moment so will be investing in spanx or similar I think!

PlumSykes · 09/02/2011 20:23

You need a suit that fits, and also has matching top and bottom!

mrsjuan · 09/02/2011 20:43

Just about to do level 3 shred - scared!
