NY Sorry to hear about DD,'hope that she starts to feel better soon, thank goodness your DH is able to be there with you.

Pickled Just ordered those shorts, 'hope that I'm not too old for them Smile

Zembo I too would be very upset about teeth, 'hope that you get it sorted to your satisfaction.Smile

Blossoming glad to hear that your 'date' at the match went well, in Ireland rugby would also be quite middle class.

Vin Glad to see that you found the perfect house, best of luck with it.

Bonsoir sorry to hear about MOL,hope that she recovers soon.

traceybath · 05/02/2011 21:13

Everything, glad to hear you're in and getting sorted, have a Wine as a 'welcome to your new home' emoticon!

AntPants1 · 06/02/2011 07:06

everything good luck in your new home.

VerityBrulee · 06/02/2011 09:38

Morning!

NY you poor thing, there is nothing more scary than your child being rushed to hospital in an ambulance, it happened to us once, still get the chills when I think about it. I hope dd is back home with you soon.

Everything, have been thinking of you, moving is such a pain, but I'm sure it'll be a lovely home for you and ds

Isn't LTEC moving around now? hope it goes smoothly and you're back soon

Bloss so glad you had a good trip with eh despite the weather and result. Rugby is v middle class here, all the private schools play rugby while the state schools usually soccer. There is quite an element of snobbery about it amongst the awful south Dublin yummy mummy crowd I have the misfortune to live amongst. The queen bees are all desperate to have their sons on the school team! Anyway, have you got tomorrow planned out? I'm sure you'll wow them Smile

Vin house sounds great. I'm going to bore you now, but Wouldn't this be the perfect opportunity to finally get rid of P? Just your name on the lease and a life of freedom for you? I really worry about you. The longer you stay with him the more damage he is doing to you. Lecture over. I would love all that space for my clothes, I keep forgeting I have things because I can't see them.

I got the high waist skinnies from TS. A good purchase, they are the best fitting, most comfortable jeans I've ever owned. Highly recommended for pears!

Zembo · 06/02/2011 09:42

Hi Everything glad to hear you're getting settled into your new home. Hope DS is enjoying the adventure too.

NY how's your DD doing, hopefully she's picked up loads since yesterday and will be discharged soon.

Reine just going to PM you now Smile

GeorginaWorsley · 06/02/2011 11:47

Have seen the Carrie top myself in Phase Eight myself Tracey and agree tis good.
Wore a spur of moment sale buy dress from Dorothy Perkins of all places last night and received many compliments! A friend thought it was from Reiss and £££!

mrsjuan · 06/02/2011 11:54

Morning (just) all. I can't keep up at the moment but just wanted to say
Zembo glad you're home and have got your dh to help you recover-take your time.
And ny- hope dd is on the mend now. How very scary for all of you but it sounds like you have all done very very well to be so strong and together.

blossoming · 06/02/2011 13:46

Checking in to say hi everyone.
How are things notyummy?
Hope you're feeling better zembo.
Snuggled on sofa post massive roast dinner with ds watching nanny McPhee and the big bang.
Weather is atrocious. Water everywhere.
Thanks for asking verity. I did 2 hours preparation between 6 and 8 this morning. I'm not quite finished, another hour or so to do tonight. I'm happy with my clothing decision. I'm going to wear the Pure jacket whatever the weather, but with my thin navy parka over the top to go between car and school. My hair and eyebrows were done last week so I should look pretty groomed!
My back is finally better and dh used the 7hr round trip to Cardiff and back asking me interview questions. Very nervous though.

OP posts:
monkeysmama · 06/02/2011 13:56

Is the interview tomorrow Bloss Good luck!

Zembo hope you're feeling relaxed and much better.

NY hope dd is much, much better. I can't even contemplate it without wanting to cry. Hope you and dh are ok too.

Think Cakey is really busy. She is fine.

I got some eBay deliveries yesterday and finally ones I am pleased with. It can get a bit addictive I find and most some of my purchases go straight to charity / my little sisters. I got a brand new lace jumper from TS I'd tried a few times in the shop before Christmas but when I went back to get it they'd sold out. It' really nice and was a 10% of the retail price. I got a lovely vintage snakeskin scarf too in greys and black. I have already had two compliments from strangers on it.

I've been having a nightmare with Reiss recently so still don't have my lace t-shirts nor a previous order I placed as they keep leaving my road name off my parcels. They've done it four times now so the things get dispatched then never arrive and eventually get returned to them. I've been waiting almost four weeks for the first parcel.

Dp and dd gone swimming so I have some quiet time for an hour. Have a Space NK order to place and them I am going to sit and read the paper before they're back and we go for a big Sunday lunch.

Happy Sunday everyone.

Oops - keep meaning to say sei bellissima Roma Wink.

redllamayellowllama · 06/02/2011 14:00

Good luck for tomorrow Blossoming, am sure you'll knock their socks off! You sound as wel prepared as you can be.

traceybath · 06/02/2011 14:30

Good luck tomorrow Bloss! I'm guessing they'll let you know pretty quickly.

PlumSykes · 06/02/2011 14:37

Bloss, look what's coming to Chester!

JL spa

pickledsiblings · 06/02/2011 14:42

Bloss, here's some last minute reading. You may pick up a few hints or else just pat yourself on the back because you've got it all covered. Best of luck for tomorrow, enjoy it.

Thanks everyone!

That was a really helpful link, thank you pickled.

plum, exciting news indeed! Need a job to fund visit to spa now!

When will it stop raining? All the fields are under water, the lake is so high we can barely see the footpath, and it is so windy there are big waves like I've rarely seen before. Hate it. And more tomorrow.

TheAllNewOoooh · 06/02/2011 15:45

Anniemac aha, I see. Very important to have good shopping near work (says the woman who managed to squeeze Selfridges into her Thursday and Friday lunch hour...).

The various outfits sound fab. I am feeling the need for some polka dot action in my wardrobe: maybe this when my Elle subscription has kicked in and I can get my 20% off.

I'm not remotely surprised at the big yawn given your efforts this weekend PLUS night weaning. How old is your DD2? Have to say I largely wimped out of sleep training because it was just too darned tempting to feed DS back to sleep. I could never resist at 3am.

Sorry to hear about your DH. I bet a month feels like a lifetime. Is there any longstop date or could this keep on happening?

lackaDaisy · 06/02/2011 15:47

Hello everyone.. Just skim-reading on iPhone while dd is at drama class.

ny how scary! Glad things are in hand now. Your dd is very very brave!

bloss glad your date went well in spite of the weather. Good luck for tomo.

anniemac I'm waiting on a pair of Lottas, your post has made me even more impatient than usual. How quick was delivery? I only ordered on Friday so not really expecting it straight away.

Four of dd's classmates came over yesterday. There were 5 4-year olds, 1 3-month baby, 3 mums, plus me and poor dh. The house was chaotically full, but very enjoyable afternoon. DD loved bossing her friends around! Grin. I wore my H+M Breton top and 7FAM jeans with a cardigown dye to the freakishly cold weather. I do wish I had my Lottas to complete the ensemble but made do with my Kurtz Geiger brogues instead

MarshaBrady · 06/02/2011 15:48

Bloss good luck for tomorrow!

Anniemac that must mean it is going well for you dh's business? Must be hard, but hopefully good in the long term? Your outfits sound great.

TheAllNewOoooh · 06/02/2011 15:54

Hey bloss keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you tomorrow. I'm sure you'll rock it after all of that prep.

I thought of you yesterday as I donned the Feathers Dress and heels for a night out. It is such a fun number and I was glad I had it on even though everyone else was there in some variation on jeans + tee shirt (for a birthday party!). I think in the past I would have felt awkward at being the odd one out but last night I knew I would have the W&A girls behind me and instead just thought everyone else had been a bit dull!

No rain here (yet) just lots of miserable grey cloud. I have to say that my DH was a bit Hmm when I unveiled the Lottas and threw a very pointed look at the cold, grey, February sky. I guess it could be said that we have been a leetle bit too avid buying sandals at the start of February!

TheAllNewOoooh · 06/02/2011 15:56

Oh yes and on the subject of my Lottas, which I do like, the braided bits are a teensy bit narrow across the top of my feet. I'm sure the leather will warm up but I don't have wide feet and thought that they might be snug for those with a wider foot.

Delivery was very quick - ordered on Wednesday and arrived Friday.

petitdonkey · 06/02/2011 16:12

Where can you buy Hasbeens online in the UK? I think that I have decided on them over Lottas (In part due to AllNewOoooh's comment that they might be a bit tight on wide feet) -
I've been debating them for ages and now I've decided I can't get them!!

petitdonkey · 06/02/2011 16:26

found some on Urban Outfitters site - now I just need the weather to improve....
