Marsha, I love Liberty.

Macmama, nice shorts.

AntPants, thanks, yes it is my second baby so have done my time in the ward! Wouldn't go to the birth centre after my last experience so I am happy to pay for a room, if available.

Does anyone know where I could get a cheaper version of this longer-length tank?

FritziGreenEyes · 15/01/2011 09:28

carciofi Belstaff Lady Jenn size 40 in dark brown here.

FritziGreenEyes · 15/01/2011 09:33

Bargain: Purple HH

carciofi · 15/01/2011 09:34

Thanks Fritzi, the Belstaff fund is depleted now! I'll bookmark them in case the My-Wardrobe boots aren't right.

redllamayellowllama · 15/01/2011 09:37

Thank you for all your kind words - buoyed up my confidence no end on a night out with lithe, childless friends.

Had a fab time, but DD decided to wake 3 times in the small hours, so now suitably exhausted.

Downtown Abbey is great isn't it, Hells? Was very upset at the end of the series.

Well done Baby Brady - too cute, those first steps.

Sorry to hear about bad Skyping experience, Macmama. Not quite the same, but my Mum is in Singapore and it's horrible when the connection fails. They get so very disappointed.

DH has taken DS off on his scooter and am meant to be getting dressed for lunch and an afternoon trip to a story centre. OWW's In-Wear top beckons. Off I go, have lovely Saturdays all.

macmama · 15/01/2011 09:40

Proper link to the Kimchi & Blue peg trousers .

Last call - any takers? They are nice - I will be returning Monday am otherwise but if someone messaged me soon I might even be able to post today (have something else to post before I take DDs to ballet)

Marsha yes it was technical - skype not allowed in dubai and messenger kept kicking us off and not connecting - we had to send him video messages instead.

OllieWollieWoo · 15/01/2011 09:46

RLYL - glad you had a nice night out and sorry about your not so nice interupted sleep! You really did look lovely in your pic! LOL at lithe childless friends!

I'm off out with DH and kids to the lovely village market and to the library to exchange the kids books. DH has a friend coming over for dinner who is a health freak in terms of what he will eat (sits there telling us the impact of what we are eating on our bodies etc - so v boring!) so we are trying a new recipe - JO's salmon wrapped in prosciutto with herby lentils, spinach and youghurt!

DH has fixed the laptop - turned it upside down, blew heavily into a vent, dislodged a ton of dust and now its fine! He is being a tad smug re not buying a new one - boo!

FritziGreenEyes · 15/01/2011 09:51

DH has taken DD out and I'm trawling the sales sites on laptop in bed with second cup of tea smile.

Is anyone still looking for a lace dress or are we over lace?

abo Fab tights!
macmama Hope that skype will work today!
verity Best wishes for your lovely aunt!
hells Did you do an all-nighter and finish the first series of Dowton?

Not cheaper, carciofi, but lovely longline vests here.

I had a good night last night. I wore the feathers dress and the shoeboots. I had a dance off with a much younger member who was wearing fierce shoeboots with a similar heel height! But I do feel a bit fragile today!

I'm going to give serious thought to this job this weekend. On the plus side it is in a Welsh medium school, which narrows the field down slightly, and they ask for 2 languages, which I have. On the negative, it's a bit further than I was hoping to travel, and not an easy road. The problem is that schools closer to my area are suffering from rural depopulation and are closing, merging, and making teachers redundant. Luckily languages are on the curriculum, so there will always be a need for language teachers.

Today, DS is going for a sleepover at MIL's, so as the weather is atrocious, we will all take him, and carry on to Sainsburys to stock up on lovely essentials with dh's wallet.

Hope you're all well, gutted I missed your photo red.

FritziGreenEyes · 15/01/2011 11:47

bloss Hope you have recovered from your night out Smile. Re your job offer: Do you think you could negotiate a part-time deal, so you wouldn't have to drive every day but only teach on 2 or 3 days?

PlumSykes · 15/01/2011 12:14

carciofi, Long line vests at Topshop, look to come below bum, and are on a '2 for £10' offer. I bought some from Vero Moda when PG with DS, they had nice Breton stripes as well as plain.

big congrats on your job offer blos well done you clever thing!

Tuesday westfield ladies - will wait for a pm from you re good place to meet with dc as I usually go sans.

Thanks to you kind ladies re bread eating Grin As many of you know and sympathise with, I struggle with 'normal' approaches to food and it was tricky for me to eat 'contraband' stuff yesterday without panicking and thinking about how I was going to compensate later. But I did it and enjoyed it and didn't feel too guilty Smile Thanks for understanding, Well done to you though fleecy on making your resolution - it sounded like the whole goal-setting thing was doing your head in a bit last year so good for you on deciding to relax, esp if dh is coming round to idea of ttc for dc3.

well done on walking PeterBrady Grin

and congrats (and salmony hugs) to you on huose everything new and happy times ahead. You have been very brave.

LetThemEatCake · 15/01/2011 12:33

AllBuggiedOut · 15/01/2011 12:47

Thanks oww - I've tried that one on a couple of times and love it. Waiting for it to come into the sale though Grin

Speaking of which, I am also waiting for this and these to be reduced...

Trying to take photos of stuff to e-bay which DS3 is watching TV. bloss do you find it hard to make things look good? Or maybe I'm just trying to flog rubbish Grin

hellsbelles · 15/01/2011 13:06

how exciting Everything...great things ahead I'm sure.

Very jealous of the westfield trip...why is north london so lacking in shiny, big shopping centres?
