Evening ladies. Still only spent £85 this month

Trying to avoid the links as I am enjoying not buying anything! Have been trying on though. Need to shred

The discipline some of you have never ceases to amaze me.

reallygrumpy · 13/01/2011 21:17

On a slightly diff subject, this was one of DD's hanukkah presents and is a huge hit, great game for 3 and 4 year olds.

vin I love krispy kreme doughnuts and ate far too many when I was pg with DD.

Well I've still purchased nothing this month, which may be a good thing as the house needs more work than we thought.

OllieWollieWoo · 13/01/2011 21:19

Lap top has picked up a virus or something and crashes every 3/5 mins. So flippin annoying. So infrequent, v short posts from me for the forseeable future!
Thanks for coat comments - think the Pure coat will be my first purchase from my spanking new bank account!

KILDARE4 · 13/01/2011 21:32

Evening Ladies

really spooky Carciofi but I have same flared jeans!

NY really nice dress, where would you wear it?

Have spent the day trying to sort out my heating, and just found out we need a new boilerConfused , Think we might go for an Alpha range/boiler, anyone familiar with them?

Have just booked my flight to W&A meet upGrin

OllieWollieWoo · 13/01/2011 21:35

Chick flick fest on Dutch Tv tonight - I am flicking between Top Gun and Muriels Wedding!
Will be lovely to meet you Kildare.
Hello to the newbies - lovely posts.

reallygrumpy · 13/01/2011 21:39

ollie what's the sizing like on the inwear top? I'm thinking of getting it in black or navy but I'm not sure what size to get. Thanks!

OllieWollieWoo · 13/01/2011 21:39

Oh yes, Shred question - and sorry if I sound like a fool! How often should I be doing it - everyday or every other day? And should I be doing it if I have (really) sore muscles? (Gosh those questions could be misunderstood couldnt they? "it" being Shred!?!)

OllieWollieWoo · 13/01/2011 21:42

Not got it (just the enabler!) but it looks generous. Think LTEC and Tracey said the same. The navy looked nice instore yesterday.

blossoming · 13/01/2011 21:44

Well done hf .
Wise choice ollie: I think we may have had this conversation before but my former style icon was Tom Cruise in Top Gun Blush. 501's, white tshirt, black leather bomber. Yes, I've changed!
Kildare, looking forward to meeting you at the MOAM.

OWW- For the full experience you be shredding every day for 30 Days. Each level for 10 days......even if you are sore!!

Kildare- not sure tbh. If it looks great then it could go on the shortlist for the meet-up. Also I gave a girls weekend away next week.... And potentially a trip to Scotland involving a night out next month. Plus my birthday later thus month when DH taking me out.

notyummy · 13/01/2011 21:46

Even more typos than usual on that last post. Bloody predictive text!!

blossoming · 13/01/2011 21:47

ollie, minimum 5 days a week [stern]. I've finished 2 weeks of 6 pack today and in the right light, and squinting I think I can make out a lateral!

Bloss Smile I had my first date watching Top Gun at the cinema - my date got cramp in his arm from having it stretched over my shoulder for the entire film! Doubled dated with my best friend - all very innocent tho! I think I know the soundtrack off by heart!

reallygrumpy · 13/01/2011 21:47

I think Jillian says you should shred 5 times a week but you could start off doing less and then build up. I ached initially but it stopped as I got used to shredding. Good luck! I can't shred at the mo (I've been advised by dr to take it easy and do nothing more strenuous than walking) and I'm really missing it.

blossoming · 13/01/2011 21:48

Iconic moment ollie!

OP posts:
notyummy · 13/01/2011 21:50

Well done on the abs Bloss! That's the favourite part of my body, especially since I've dropped a few pounds since October.

blossoming · 13/01/2011 21:53

notyummy., don't think your gauntlet of bikini in the pool went unnoticed! I'll have to flash my slimline bum instead!

OP posts:
OllieWollieWoo · 13/01/2011 21:54

Hmm re Shred - not quite grasped the concept of the 30 days bit (ditzy blonde me!) Will start afresh tomorrow - with new coral red weights! Well done on your abs Bloss! Sorry to hear you can't exercise reallygrumpy.

KILDARE4 · 13/01/2011 21:56

Dh bought his first car when Top Gun came out and he used to drive around playing the sound track on tape with the window open wearing Ray bans a la Ice Man (Val Kilmer)! Used to always crack me up!Grin

blossoming · 13/01/2011 21:58

That's sweet you've known your dh that long Kildare. It really was everyone's favourite film wasn't it?

OP posts:
OllieWollieWoo · 13/01/2011 21:59

I think Top Gun has a lot to answer for!

DH says we can get a new laptop - thank goodness! Any rec's?

notyummy · 13/01/2011 22:05

Nearly every bloke I know of a certain age can pretty much mouth all the lines to that film.....unsurprisingly most of the fast jet aircrew I know are particularly word perfect! My favourite bit is the semi clad volleyball scene Grin.

Bloss My arse is not about to win any prizes and I shudder to think it would look if I didn't do as much exercise as I do- it is smaller than it used to be though, so thats something. I am sure the 'Top Bottom Badge' is safely in your hands!

OllieWollieWoo · 13/01/2011 22:09

DH just pointed out the Pure coat is quite similar to one of his! Hmm

blossoming · 13/01/2011 22:11

Yeah, right ny!
Our new laptop is Toshiba ollie. Oh and it's red. (helpful, no?)
