Howdy!!!! Squirrel 3 and I have decided that as we are a bit nutty, we'd like to set up the Nutty Stepmum's Club or NSC. If anyone would like to join us, please add to this post and prove that we are not the only nutters out there!

We would like to add a little bit more nuttyness to our already insane lives!!!!

But NAAM think of all of the callories you would burn pole dancing and I bet your dp would love it!!!!

Maybe I'll get one, think I'm a bit too shy though! [shy emoticon]

FruitAndNutcase · 14/11/2005 16:22

Shy Squirrel? Dont believe you! lol

I think its a great inhibition breaker! Im def gonna try that!

NAAM, That is not fat at all, men love a fuller figure! Ive spent too long trying to get myself into a size 8/10 like DPs ex (BM) but at the end of the day he says he prefers my figure to hers any day!

NotActuallyAMum · 14/11/2005 16:23

Actually, yes you're right I think he would love it , might get one next year

Just been outside to the bin and it's bloody freezing here!!

Squirrel3 · 14/11/2005 16:24

I am a very quiet, shy, reserved squirrel you know!

NotActuallyAMum · 14/11/2005 16:25

Thanks FANC

I am getting to the stage where I feel uncomfortable tho so I probably will do something about it after Christmas. Don't want to be 9.5 stone again tho - so many people told me I went too far they can't all be wrong

FruitAndNutcase · 14/11/2005 16:26

Hmmmm no comment Squirrel, lol

Bloody freezing here too NAAM, I had to scrape the car windscreens this morning! Winter has arrived!!!!

FruitAndNutcase · 14/11/2005 16:29

I was the same NAAM, after I split from my long term ex of 14 years, I went down to 9 stone 3, partly through stress, then through exercising and eating healthily. People said I was too skinny, although I was 9 stone 7 when I met DP. I went up to 11 stone, but now that we have been going to the gym 4 times a week Im down to 10 stone 5. Would still like to lose a bit more, ideally down to 10 stone, but I wont hold my breath, not with Christmas coming! lol

Squirrel3 · 14/11/2005 16:30

Just looked out of my window and there is the most beautiful sunset, the sky is streaked red, blue, purple, and pink.

Looks cold though!!!!

Squirrel3 · 14/11/2005 16:32

Why don't we all go on a diet together in the new year, then we will have each other for support?

NotActuallyAMum · 14/11/2005 16:35

Sunset sounds lovely Squirrel

New Year diet sounds like a good idea to me - count me in. At least we'll be able to have virtual cakes/alcohol/chocolate on here

Squirrel3 · 14/11/2005 16:40

What? You mean that dieting means that I will only be able to have virtual alcohol?

NotActuallyAMum · 14/11/2005 16:44

LOL

Depends how strict you want to be - I'll allow myself one weekend a month when I can have a drink and that'll be my DPs weekend off. But I have a lot more weight to lose than you so you should be OK

Bet that pool was bloody cold!!

FruitAndNutcase · 14/11/2005 16:47

Hey that sounds good, New Year diet! Not sure about the alcohol only once a month though, I have to have that at least 2 or 3 weekends a month (when we are not having the kids of course)!

Ive got to that stage at the gym now though, where I dont seem to lose anymore, I think Im putting on muscle tho, seem to be toning up but would love to lose some inches of me thighs and hips! any suggestions?

Squirrel3 · 14/11/2005 16:52

DP has just phoned to tell me he is going to be late, he has been held up at work.

When I met him he was the builder who had came to put up a new ceiling for me, he worked late then and I asked him then if he worked late often, "never" was his reply, he admitted later that he took longer over the job so that he could try to get to know me better. I eventually agreed to go on a date with him after he had been texting and phoning me for 3 months!

My point is, do you think he might have found another woman? He never works late!

NotActuallyAMum · 14/11/2005 16:53

Think there are specific exercises you can do to lose weight from specific places but I don't know any more than that - I'm sure someone at the gym will be able to tell you

I'm off now - speak to you all tomorrow, have a nice evening everyone

NotActuallyAMum · 14/11/2005 16:55

Squirrel you are joking aren't you? Your DP wouldn't do that to you

Squirrel3 · 14/11/2005 16:56

No. I'm sure he hasn't, I don't know why I get so suspicious sometimes.

But I know that women fall over themselves for him, don't know why myself but I've seen it with my own eyes.

I know I fancy him but it is him not the physical him iykwim.

NotActuallyAMum · 14/11/2005 16:59

I do know what you mean Squirrel, long-term relationships can reach a stage where you start to wonder about these things. Sounds like you need to bring a bit of spark back into your lives. You've had so many things to cope with this year it's no wonder you're feeling like this. Why not put the candles out in the bathroom and have a bath together next time you have the house to yourselves for the weekend? You might be surprised what simple things like that can do for you both

FruitAndNutcase · 14/11/2005 17:00

cant believe what you have just said Squirrel. You dont honestly think he would do you? Im sure he wouldnt, why have rump when he can have fillet steak with you! He knows he will never get another partner as wonderful and understanding as you!

FruitAndNutcase · 14/11/2005 17:02

I get the same sometimes, my DP works with a lot of women and hes always talking about them, albeit not always in a nice way!

I get especially worried as DP split up from BM (her choice not his) but then he got with someone he worked with within a couple of weeks, which makes me wonder although he swears he never cheated on BM and I do believe him as he hates cheaters!

Squirrel3 · 14/11/2005 17:11

I think I get so suspicious because my ex was always cheating on me, but he was a low life scum bag!!!!

FruitAndNutcase · 14/11/2005 17:12

Its easy to tar them all with the same brush, Im the same, but Im sure that your DP wouldnt do that to you. He and his children love you too much. He would have too much to lose!

Squirrel3 · 14/11/2005 17:18

I know he loves me but as for his kids....

Not too sure about that one.

FruitAndNutcase · 14/11/2005 17:27

Course they love you Squirrel, just like mine they dont always show it. I had my first ever kiss off SD on Saturday I was so chuffed I nearly cried. That is the first emotion/affection I have been shown in over 3 years!
