Howdy!!!! Squirrel 3 and I have decided that as we are a bit nutty, we'd like to set up the Nutty Stepmum's Club or NSC. If anyone would like to join us, please add to this post and prove that we are not the only nutters out there!

We would like to add a little bit more nuttyness to our already insane lives!!!!

Hello nutters,

I am very suprised that no-one picked up on he fact that one of my hobbies is deep sea fishing!!!

I expected at least a "Fishing? How boring!!

But I supose you don't know me in RL, I'm afraid I'm a bit girlie, you know long nails and high heels (blimey, that makes me sound lke a tart, I'm not honest, but you know what I mean). People are usually suprised by my hobbies.

What hobbies have everybody else got (apart from The Nutty Stepmothers Club that is)?

Surfermum · 06/05/2005 14:13

Sam, that's just pants. We had exactly the same - refusing to make arrangements with dh directly and wanting everything to go through the solicitors. It's OK to have these princples when it's funded by the state isn't it? that she's claiming legal aid when she isn't entitled. Did you know you can ask the legal aid board to investigate it?

Has your dp considered representing himself? Dh did it and it was fine. After all, he had done nothing wrong and just wanted to see his little girl. We just couldn't afford to pay a solicitor.

tarantula · 06/05/2005 15:08

Id love to go fishing Squirrel and would really like to go sea fishing but have never got round to it. It sounds like such fun. But then Im not girly at all and dont possess even one pair of high heels. Im a Viking in my spare time (just dont have enough of it at the minute ). Any more news on the credit card front?

Hope things get better for you Sam. Maybe the solicitor will take a pair of big pants in leu of payment He could use them when dealing with tricky cases.

squirrel3 · 06/05/2005 15:18

Hello tarantula, so your a viking are you? Tell me more!!

I'll have to wait until the credit card statement comes before I know if BM has booked herself a five star holiday for the weekend!!!

tarantula · 06/05/2005 15:41

Not much to tell really we get dressed up in viking costumes and go kill saxons . Its good fun We go to lots of places and reenact battles like the battle of Hastings etc and do crafts and stuff too. I make our costumes (got sooooo muchto do for this summer). Its good fun. we are only going to two shows thsi year tho cos of lack of money

squirrel3 · 06/05/2005 15:48

Wow, Ive always wanted to do that!

Can't believe that Ive 'met' someone who actually does it!!

Don't think I'd like making the costumes though, I'm blooming hopeless at that sort of thing.

I have no idea how this works but it does!

YOUR AGE BY CHOCOLATE MATHS

DON'T CHEAT BY SCROLLING DOWN FIRST!
It takes less than a minute ....
Work this out as you read ...
Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've
worked it out!
This is not one of those waste of time things,
it's fun.

  1. First of all, pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once but less than 10)

  2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

  3. Add 5

  4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator .

  5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1755 .... If you haven't, add 1754.

  6. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

You should have a three digit number .

The first digit of this was your original number (i.e., how many times you want to have chocolate each week).

The next two numbers are

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!!!)

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2005) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS

Surfermum · 08/05/2005 19:50

No way! Spot on.

Now you've made me think about chocolate

squirrel3 · 08/05/2005 20:01

Surfermum, I've just eaten a big bar, I blame you, well you did suggest it to me on another thread, if I get fat you know who I'm going to blame.

Surfermum · 08/05/2005 20:06

Oh yes, so I did. Well there you go, karma coming back to bite me on the bum!

squirrel3 · 09/05/2005 08:29

Oh Surfermum, I was only joking, I hope I didn't offend you!

I'm sorry [puppy-dog eyes emotion]

Imagine, if you can, a squirrel with its paws behind its back and huge puppy-dog eyes saying sorry, well its bound to make you laugh anyway, lol.

squirrel3 · 09/05/2005 15:51

Tarantula, may be your MN name should be Sigrid - Viking Rebel (scroll down a bit)

tarantula · 10/05/2005 09:40

Morning all Just read your threads so I thougth Id tell you about my dream last nightto cheer you up. I dreamt that we were having a big party for Squirrels ds who was 1 (yes I know hes grown up and demanding seperate shampoo but in the dream he was only 1) and wait for it my TWINS who were 2. Where the f**k did these TWINS comes from???? I had to ice a cake for them and was running round trying to find candles for the cake. Then we were all (all being kids, stepkids, grandkids, partners and BMs) flying to Tintagel for the afternoon.

So what the hell was that all about then? Dp thinks I must be cracking up.

squirrel3 · 10/05/2005 13:11

Surfermum · 13/05/2005 12:45

Hi! I'm here. We've just been to "Tots and Sticky Dots" and guess what Tarantula? We made a spider.

tarantula · 13/05/2005 12:50

lol thats brillaint obviously got good taste in their choice of creatures to make

Surfermum · 13/05/2005 12:53

But I'm completely phobic about spiders! Shaking, heart racing, etc. I hide behind pillows if they're on the TV. And to prove what I good step-mum I am I did a Halloween party for dsd and the boy next door and made liquorice spiders for them. Even those scared me!

tarantula · 13/05/2005 12:58

I know a good cure for spider phobia Well it worked for dps x anyway. she came round to ours and after a botlle of vodka between us (me and her dp was on beer) she held Charlotte (our first spider whos dead now). Let me know if you fancy it and ill get the vodka in (Maybe Ill just get some in anyway tho )

Surfermum · 13/05/2005 12:59

{{{Surfermum runs screaming from the room}}}

Surfermum · 13/05/2005 13:02

No way! Never! Oh but thanks for the offer .

tarantula · 13/05/2005 13:21
