One of the new rules I was interested in seeing upheld was the crowding the ref-which def happened more than once in last nights game with no censure.

I think one of the frustrating things for everyone is the rules inconsistently applied. So in the next game-with a different official-if the rule is applied and yellow cards handed out they will feel hard done by.

For me that would have been an easy one to use as a warning for the rest of season the first time it happened but it wasn't applied and now once it has been ignored it will only inflame things more for whichever team it is applied against-which I assume will be tomorrow 😂

I knew I should have left Semenyo in my dream team of course I didn't have him in there at all

I did have him in one of my drafts (and a lot of last season) but he didn't make the final cut. Oh well.

If you want hard done by look at FPL the rumours are if Arne Slot had left on Frimpong and Kerkez for 22 more seconds they would have both reached 60 minutes and clean sheets!

Doesn't Slot know that FPL is far more important than that piddling little Premiership trophy?

Livramento on the bench in my FPL. Didn’t see us not conceding against Villa. Would have taken that result before KO but it feels like 2 points dropped now. If we’d had a striker we would have won that comfortably 🙄

I've got Watkins and nearly had Konsa, glad I didn't bother with him. I might be a Pompey fan but have a big soft spot for Villa for family reasons.

I always like to see Richy doing well.

Sunderland top of the league

We do family predictions (how the league will finish, player of the season etc) and one is redemption and I have Richarlison

also have Sunderland staying up and Wedt Ham going down and Graham Potter as first manager sacked!

@Tiswa I also think West Ham could struggle this season. Serious kudos to Bournemouth for playing so well yesterday despite having to replace three of their starting defenders from last season and their goalkeeper. I don't like to see Brentford struggling, but I think they will: they've lost key people and it seems an odd choice to spend almost as much on Outtara as they will get when they sell Wissa.

Richarlison likes to wind people up it’s endearing if you are a fan it makes him a cockend if you aren’t!

I think though he likes to court controversy somewhat and can be a twat but isn’t a nasty one like Barton

Even in my West Ham groups many folk are thinking we’ll have a battle to stay up.

We could do what Arbroath did last season, sack the manager after way too many weeks of struggling, finally get management with proper passion for the club, and then do so well we win the league.

However this is also West Ham I’m talking about so, yeah… Only one of my teams will probably ever do that for me LOL.

Excited to be heading back to Old Trafford today, although all the pundit predictions are that we're going to get battered.

P.S ... I never liked Richarlison, was maybe irrational and then Bilbao happened, so I kind of feel vindicated in that dislike 😂 because he did wind me up in the final.
