Not sure about the defence but the attack looks good.

That surprised me too.

Although I'm sure someone said he got booked the other game as soon as he came on, so not sure whether Southgate felt perhaps he's still not ready.

Feel Maguire is a huge loss.

I have just renewed our season tickets for next season. Urgh. 10% increase right after the worst season in ages hurts. But there we have it. We will now up our per game "payment" into the money box to EUR 30 each, so we can pay for next year's when the time comes.

forgot to add: had to pay €5 each extra to get an actual card and €5 for them to be posted.

@DuncinToffee I don't know others do it, but United do a mass release of ticket sales for members. The website seems to have gone into meltdown this morning :(
Fulham at home first up for us. Apparently we haven't had an opening day away fixture since 2016. My son messaged me to say we'll be winning the league at home to Villa on the closing day of the season. Bless him, I love his optimism. But moments like these, I realised I've raised an idiot haha!

So happy I got to the top of the season ticket waiting list a few seasons ago (am travelling but DH sent me pics of ours that arrived today)

Our capacity is 54,042. 5,000 for away fans. 2,000 ish for sponsors etc. 30,000 which leaves only 17,042 tickets available for each match.

They used to release the tickets for the first half of the season all on one day - so you had to get your buying strategy ready (say: go for Cologne first then Bayern & Frankfurt). It was always a Saturday and I used to get sweaty palms and have nightmares. Under their old system there was a queue and you often got bounced back to 10,000 when you were about number 5.

All ready for next season now. Same seat behind the away dugout for the joy of winding up the managers for the whole season.

New season in my opinion starts too early.
