I don't suppose we're going to see anything about the 115 charges any time soon...

Well done to Villa!

domineastronomy · 15/05/2024 06:45

Congrats to Villa

Brefugee · 15/05/2024 07:31

Great for Villa! congrats

Brefugee · 15/05/2024 07:32

forgot to add: St Pauli promoted to the Bundesliga so my friend's son who lives near us will be happy he doesn't have to travel so far to see them, and will see them much more often (we're a long way from Hamburg, but lots of Bundesliga clubs within easy reach here)

Oblomov24 · 15/05/2024 19:31

Was very very sad you see Ange interview. It feels like he's changed, different persona. Fear damage had been done here. Please how don't say that this is the start of a slippery slope, and he's on the way out.

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 15/05/2024 19:38

He's seen the small club mentality, and I don't think he's impressed.

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 15/05/2024 19:55

From twatter, so can't vouch for it's veracity, although it feels about right;

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 15/05/2024 19:56

The funny thing is, I think at least one of the -1s for Wolves was against Arsenal...

BitOutOfPractice · 15/05/2024 20:04

Wolves fan here. That’s certainly what this season feels like.

Oblomov24 · 15/05/2024 20:08

No agreed. Not sure it was a good idea to mention fragile inside and out. But we all know there are inherent problems.

But he looked different, damaged, like the fire had been sucked out of his belly. And my heart sank.

Oblomov24 · 15/05/2024 20:10

small club? Hmm

Conniethecatapillar · 15/05/2024 20:11

He's probably realised what he's let himself in for now!

I think West Ham still might do Arsenal a favour I wouldn't write them off just yet. But then Everton is not an easy game either.

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 15/05/2024 20:14

Small club mentality.

Oblomov24 · 15/05/2024 20:17

Plus:

Manchester United's debt has increased to £651 million, while Manchester City faces a £454.1 million debt load. Amidst this financial landscape, clubs like Chelsea, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Fulham stand debt-free, a testament to prudent financial management or significant owner investment.

Apart from those 4, many clubs are in a right financial mess, many almost insolvent!

Oblomov24 · 15/05/2024 20:17

No. Not even mentality.

Oblomov24 · 15/05/2024 20:19

I'm not prepared to go down the 'spurs are shit in every way' debate. Sorry.

MrsMitford3 · 15/05/2024 20:20

@Oblomov24 His own fans were in the stands behind him cheering against him.

I have seen interviews from Conte and Mourinho saying the same sort of thing he was saying.

Spurs fans caring more about Arsenal not winning the PL than their own team getting CL and the vast amount of money and clout that go with it is pretty sad tbh.

To me this is a classic case of fans cutting of their noses to spite their faces.

Son laughing with Pep after also not good optics.

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 15/05/2024 20:23

That's not what I'm saying. But it's clear to us from the outside that the management in the past few years has not improved the club noticeably. And the attitude of some of the fans last night doesn't scream "top club" to anyone.
