Can't see Villa slipping up now but stranger things happen in the PL.
A win for Spurs tonight would be amazing.

Well Crystal Palace are playing their best football of the season at the moment. Eze, Olise and Mateta are all on fire, so there is no guarantee that Villa will win on Sunday at all.

Spurs have Sheffield and should win that so they have everything to play for tonight.

Villa don't need to win though- a point should be enough due to their gd.

Good point, but even drawing with Palace will be difficult and no team can play for a draw if the other team does not need to.

Palace will have absolutely nothing to lose and so can just play their best football whereas Villa will be so nervous not to lose if Spurs win tonight.

I remember a few years ago when Spurs had CL football in the bag and we (Arsenal) needed a large difference to get CL and Spurs lost 5-1 to an already relegated Newcastle team and we got CL football.

Of course, Sheffield could do the same to Spurs but I don't care about that as long as Spurs win tonight.

I cant believe the nonsense I reading everywhere about the Spurs v Man City game tonight. What a load of baloney. We as a family did joke many many weeks ago that we'd do anything to stop Arsenal winning the league, so rather lose to City to stop Arsenal winning, but only as a one second joke. Ange interviewed last night. apparently vote said 55/45 spurs fans wanted us to lose. oh purlease. Spurs won't do anything tonight. I only hope we don't lose badly, ie a thrashing, 6-0. We are Man city's bogey team and do beat them, (a couple of wins I myself have been at), but not this time. Not a chance. We have been to poor recently.

I agree. Spurs are a good team and they have staged several comebacks (including against us) so if the right team turn up they could win.

Saw a really good quote from Ange saying if you look at social media all the fans want spurs to lose but that he and the players obviously want to win every game and compete against the best. Social media not the real world.
So who knows which way the Spursy-ness will go.
Win so the fans are upset (well the ones on twitter and Jamie O'Hara on talk sport)
Lose and give up any last min miracle for CL which is much more important for them as a club than anything we do!
