Well, that should put the Foden vs Saka argument to bed...

Another loss for Arbroath yesterday and Caley who are the place above us got a draw so they're now 9 points ahead of us. I can't see us even managing to scrape into playoffs, think it's going to be a straight relegation for us.

They also ran out of all the pies and hot dogs before half time. There were quite a few very annoyed people including us about that one.

Yes, so Saka will be playing all the time. Let's hope Foden improves.

Great match at Wembley!

Foden and Bowen linked beautifully and Toney may have staked his claim.

Belgium's number 6 looked good too.

Enjoyed the match, we have now switched to the Wales match extra time with Welsh commentary

Foden showed he's useless on the wing, and that he can't take corners for toffee. He decent through the middle, but that's Bellingham's place to lose now.

Toney has a role to play (particularly if we're heading towards penalties!).

Bowen had his moments, but I don't think he'll get much game time. Dunc will be lucky to be on the waiting list.

Why Foden continues to take corners I have no idea. He's so dangerous around the box.
Southgate resisted making too many early subs and the game was much better for it.

Well, that was a shit night. Wales were the better team overall but the finishing was poor; the defence were immense (especially Ben Davies) - Poland didn't manage to get a single shot on target and Lewandowski was a non-entity. To go out on penalties is so cruel.

And then in a completely pointless friendly for Scotland, Andy Robertson went off injured. This is after he sustained that awful shoulder injury also playing for Scotland earlier in the season, that sidelined him for months.

I am rage eating many calorific things while muttering balefully.

Liverpool fan here.... with a Liverpool obsessed daughter (11) & partner. Big birthday coming up the weekend of Liverpool vs Spurs at Anfield in May, & can't get tickets for love nor money... does anyone have any contacts who might have 3 tickets?
Not sure if ok to ask that here or not, with Jurgen leaving it seems to be a mission.

1m Official: Sandro Tonali has now been charged by the FA with 50 offences of placing bets earlier this season.

It happened between August 12, 2023 and October 12.

Tonali was already banned for 10 months for betting offences whilst in Italy.

Hi WelshHare, have you tried the fan forums? Most of them seem to have a ticket wanted/available section.

Sorry can't help you there, I only know the Everton ones.

I've used twitter before to both buy and sell, but I don't know the retutable Liverpool ones. Just make sure to arrange to hand over cash once you're inside the ground. Usually it's for selling on the game from a season ticket holder who can't make it, so they'll want the season ticket back as soon as you're inside anyway!

You do wonder who is in charge of recruitment, that was always likely to be a dodgy one...

@WelshHare it pains me to help as I'd like you both to lose but my one bit of advice is don't use stubhub as I know someone who was just scammed for tickets there.
