I'm shocked about Jurgen going! Such a lovely man. He'll be missed.

I think the reaction today says it all. Regardless of what happens over the rest of this season, Klopp will get a hero’s send off from Liverpool, with so much gratitude for what he has done. It was the same when he left Mainz 05 and Borussia Dortmund. To leave all three clubs he has managed with the fans’ hearts in his pocket speaks volumes for the man.

I've seen the interview now. Sounds like he's exhausted and ready for a good long rest. It must be absolutely shocking (devastating, even) as a Liverpool fan. But there we go. I guess he couldn't wait 2 and a half more years. I hope he's ok.

I didn't see that coming, thought Klopp would stay till the end of his contract. A very passionate, likeable character. I will miss his celebratory fist pumps

Not shocked at Klopp. He had said this before. Liverpool Fans were just lucky to have him for as long as they did.

Agree burblish leaving as loved is a big achievement.

Tbh i find it weird when people (in all walks of life) continue working on and on. Because unless there is a financial need they should go and enjoy what they worked hard for.

🍒 were good last night, watched at the vitality with some die hards and they never take a win for granted.

Was interesting to see the fans cheering Iraola and chanting, because early in the season when I was there it was more grumbling, he has done well with the team.

Have really missed Southampton being in the PL, looking forward to their return...

here in Germany it's always de Broy-nur

I just watched a YouTube video where De Bruyne himself explains how to pronounce his name - it's something like De Bruh-nur. Until now, I thought the same as @Brefugee, i.e. De Broy-ur.

Edited to add: if I could have any one player from another Premier League team at Liverpool, it would be De Bruyne - he is just incredible!

Well, I'm in Germany so naturally they pronounce it in a German way. Except in the places along the border where the accent is more like Dutch.

I see a lot of Twitter talk about "Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga and then Alonso to Liverpool" but frankly? the second part of that i can imagine. But Leverkusen won't win the league. They ALWAYS cock it up in the last few weeks.

Good idea to you tube the pronunciation, and now no idea why the ITV commentator was saying it a. So differently to everyone else and b. Not correctly.

He is an amazing player.

I am Dutch so have no problem with De Bruyne, I think De Brou-nuh comes closest.

I was fascinated to read that a Belgian Pro League match is going to be replayed in full due to a VAR error where the rules of the game were misapplied. (The issue was that a rebound goal from a saved penalty was disallowed after VAR review, due to encroachment by the player who scored. However, the VAR ignored that the opposing team's players were also guilty of encroachment, so the correct decision under the IFAB rules would have been for the penalty to have been retaken regardless of whether it was scored.)

What a win for Maidstone! Surely must get rewarded with a PL team next round....
