Darts World Championships 2024

Well it's that time of the year again, the Darts World Championships kick off tomorrow.

Any thoughts on this year? The bookies seemed to be keen on Gary Anderson but odds have dropped (?) to 14/1 now, it wouldn't surprise me if Luke Humphries wins but I dare say I find him quite boring. I had been rooting for Smith the last couple of years and was so glad he won last year!

I know these threads don't normally get busy until closer to Christmas, and I won't actually be watching tomorrow but it's here for anyone wanting to chat!

I've been watching snooker all week but will switch to the darts 🎯 I find Luke Humphries quite boring and can't get over him winning the youth championship at 25 😂

looking forward to see Luke the Nuke play with the bigger boys. Shame Beau isn't there but I think she made the right choice.

I wanted Owen Bates to keep his nickname... also love some of the more random players- Goldfinger, Rapid Ricky.

I'd love some of the newer players to do well. Can't see the hype around Rocky but this is probably the most wide open for a while.

Just back in time for Whitlock v Nebrida, I love it as should had been an 'easy' match but here we are!

I'm glad Beau has prioritised the WDF but I would have loved to have seen how she got on, will be holding out hope for Sherrock instead.

Interested to see how Littler gets on!

I've been waiting all night to see the Michael Smith match. Knowing how he is playing, I hope he doesn't lose tonight.

I put my bet on Jim Williams 😃 Hes could be a dark horse he just needs to play like he can do. Plus 300/1 was a no brainer for my £1 bet 😂

Think it will be probably be Aspinal or Humphries though.
