That penalty! I was having kittens

Was very sad to see the Dele interview, knew it was bad, but not that bad. Sad

DuncinToffee · 13/07/2023 20:31

Yes it was a hard watch.

Very brave of him to talk about it but a shame he had to do it before he was ready because of certain media outlets.

I wish I could tell him that what he has said makes such a difference, that as twee as this sounds he will give actual hope to real children who are or have recently gone through this. In a previous life I worked in such an area and someone that many children looked up to reported that they had been abused. The change in the children I worked with was startling, no it didn't solve their issues, and no they didn't all have an ending that would be considered good, but for that time they realised that it didn't define them.

Agree 100% with this

Agree with everyone about Dele (even though I don't like him because he played for Sp*rs).

But a good day for Arsenal. Rice has finally been presented.

And, possibly even more significantly, Mike Dean has "quit".

Don't let the door hit your arse on the way out Mike...

Are we having a new thread for 23/24?
Lots of changes to my German Team, and my English Team back in The Championship so I expect my season us going to be... Interesting.

DuncinToffee · 20/07/2023 08:25

Yes I will be starting a new thread soon Smile

Looks like we’re signing Harvey Barnes in exchange for selling Allan St Maximin to Saudi. Not gonna lie I’m a bit gutted as I love maxi, his moments of brilliance on the pitch plus his saltiness on Twitter have made him a firm favourite but I get that he’s one of our few saleable assets and FFP has got us firmly in its grip so we have to do something to build the squad. Still sad though. Kyle Walker will still be having nightmares about playing him at SJP last season.

YouOnlyCameToSeeEboue · 22/07/2023 23:45

OK, watching Arsenal v ManUre in New York. Why do all of Ten Hag's assistants look like him?

DuncinToffee · 23/07/2023 09:30
