Created for Zapp

Whether it’s loo roll for the hundredth time or the bottle of wine you were really excited for, we want to know the items you need, but always forget to buy at the supermarket.

  • Post your items in the thread below to be entered into a prize draw
  • One lucky MNer will win a £200 voucher for a store of their choice
Here’s what Zapp has to say:

“Run out of nappies at 3 in the morning? Haven’t had time to go to the shops to pick up dinner? Or simply just need a glass of wine after a long day? Zapp is here to save the day.

Choose from over 2,000 curated items, delivered in 20 minutes or less, with no minimum order value and free delivery over £30. You look after the kids, let Zapp look after you.”

Thanks and good luck with the prize draw!

Garlic.... and any garlic related items - garlic bread, garlic sauce

Tena 😫

I never seems to get the milk situation right ... either too much and it goes off, or not enough and we only discover at bedtime

Since having my gorgeous granddaughter i am so distracted by looking at the baby clothes/toys/books that she may love/need i usually end up forgetting i even have a shopping list!

PlanBea · 16/02/2022 15:57

Milk here too, we rarely use it and didn't keep it in pre-weaning. We'd then pick a recipe which would casually mention needing milk and have to improvise halfway through cooking!

We do bulk shops for loo roll, soda and cleaning supplies or they would be on that list too!

Kitchen roll. Always kitchen roll

Doubleglouceater · 16/02/2022 19:50

Food bin compost bags, especially as they are getting hard to find now - my online supermarket does paper bags instead, which just fall apart.
Worcester sauce, lazy garlic and kitchen rolls are other offenders!

SurfWaves · 16/02/2022 20:01

Loo roll and kitchen caddy liners.

On last shop had to run back from checkout to get loo roll, and was delighted to find someone else had abandoned caddy liners on the end of the checkout so I could add to my shop!

OlafLovesAnna · 16/02/2022 21:50
