I like sandals in the summer.
They need to be:

  • comfy
  • pretty
  • ideally a bit sparkly
  • quick and easy to put on ( no to lots of fiddly buckles, laces, straps etc)
Your back strap sparkle sandal looks ideal.
growlingbear · 24/07/2019 15:27

The Barra dotted snake sandals look lovely for summer. I would love a pair of those.

Megsheeran · 24/07/2019 15:35

I have some fit flop super ballerinas for the summer an Ebay bargain and I can walk miles in them. I couldn't afford sandals as well but I love these www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/barely-snake-print-leather-back-strap-sandals-p-R87#012

foxessocks · 24/07/2019 16:01

I wear saltwater sandals which are very comfortable but have wanted to try fit flops, they look good.

TuesdaySunshine · 24/07/2019 16:33

I go barefoot as much as possible in summer, but if I have to wear something - to drive, for instance - I'd choose something like these Buckleups. They look very comfy and cool.

Byrdie · 24/07/2019 16:55

Flipflops with a back strap so I don't have to scrunch my toes together when I try and run in them! The more flexible the better in my opinion. Couldn't be without my range of flip-flops each summer.

lucyanntrevelyan · 24/07/2019 17:42

I never know what to wear in summer on my feet, I live in trainers all winter but they don't look right on me with a dress, I feel like my feet look massive. I can't even get the look right with slightly rolled up trousers, I look like I have clown feet. My summer option is Crocs because they are cool and don't make my feet sweat and I know they look horrible but I can't find anything that doesn't look horrible. So I know I don't look stylish but I am at least comfortable! I can't wear shoes with a toe strap as the post irritates me so all flip flops are out.

Looking on the website I would like to try the LULU Padded Metallic Back Strap Sandals www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/lulu-padded-metallic-back-strap-sandals-p-T99#012

These would look fabulous with rolled up editor jeans and a simple t. Understated and comfortable.

emphasisofmatter · 24/07/2019 19:42

I like the simplicity of these! Don't like elaborate shoes! www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/flip-leather-back-strap-sandals-p-E45#090

I flip between flip flops and knock off converse - depending on whether I actually need to walk much or not. If I'm at home and popping in and out of the house then flip flops are great. If I'm out and about and running after the kids then some simple converse style trainers are supportive but lightweight.

I'd love to try Fit Flops as an alternative to flip flops as they have much more support and structure.

buize · 24/07/2019 22:56

I wear geox shoes and sandals for work due to comfort and style. Casually, I wear Birkenstock’s or flip flops if staying local.

I make sure I take a pair of trainers/pumps on holiday for all the walking.

boptanana · 24/07/2019 22:58

Flip flops all the way for me Smile

IfOnlyOurEyesSawSouls · 24/07/2019 23:34

I have Fitflops white sneakers ... they are fab.

So comfy , lightweight & stylish.

I struggle to find shoes that are comfy & stylish because i have chronic pain , so whether its Winter ( Fitflop Mukluks) or summer in Fitflop sandals or sneakers my feet are happy.

Worth every penny.

IfOnlyOurEyesSawSouls · 24/07/2019 23:35

Just to add its Fitflop Rally i bought this summer.

IfOnlyOurEyesSawSouls · 24/07/2019 23:37

@sweetkitty i have fibromyalgia too & Fitflops have helped me managed my pain so much over the past 4 years .

meep · 24/07/2019 23:47

I have had the same fitflops for around 5 years and they still look like new. I'm scarf to get new ones in case they are not comfy!
I'm liking the look of the closed toe rose gold sandals for slightly cooler weather.

jitterbugintomybrain · 24/07/2019 23:49

Comfy sandals like fly London or fitflop are my favourites.

jacqui5366 · 25/07/2019 07:17

I have had fitflops for the past 10 years plus, I love mine for work, there is nothing like walking in shoes which hurt your feet, and when your feet swell and sweat in summer, it's just so uncomfortable.

My fitflips are gold and thong style, they look great with jeans, or with black for work, with painted toes I feel glam and comfy.

I have looked for your new range - the sales are great - I have chosen . www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/fino-tassel-denim-h-slides-p-T21#684

Montydoo · 25/07/2019 07:27

Comfort every time - I have spend days in closed in leather shoes and socks in the summer and felt like I am never going to get my swollen feet back in them when I have taken them off at lunchtime.

My ideal summer sandals are these www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/sporty-back-strap-sandals-p-X32#326

Great for walking in the evenings, going too and from work - and long long beach walks on holidays - a great investment for your feet.

sashh · 25/07/2019 07:51

I love my birkenstocks I live in them for about 9 months of the year.

sharond101 · 25/07/2019 11:36

I have a pair of Karrimor walking sandals I love and live in over Summer. I have some silver Fitflops too when I want to look more dressed up.

Thiswayorthatway · 25/07/2019 11:44

Comfy but stylish, love fit flops new range.

ohdannyboy · 25/07/2019 12:02

I like my sandals to be pretty, practical and comfy, these tick all of the boxes www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/scallop-leather-back-strap-sandals-p-U72#664 . They are in the sale - result - think I might order them.

I choose shoes with a back strap, and a bit of a heel, I have a pair of fitflops which are my constant companion in summer.

jan9876 · 25/07/2019 12:14

I always wanted to wear ballet type shoes on the summer but my feet always fall out of them - it would be amazing to find some with narrow heels! this summer I am living in scrappy wedges and sequinned flip flips, they are great but I think the flip flop soles need to be a bit more flexible and soft footed as they make me stomp a bit if that makes sense lol.

i love these:

elizaco · 25/07/2019 13:50

At home I like to just wear flip flops. Out of the house I love my Converse, and flat mule-type sandals. I haven't tried Fitflops but have just had a quick look on the website and they have some lovely styles - love their Scallop leather slides :)

llynnnn · 25/07/2019 14:13

www.fitflop.com/uk/en/shop/tia-metallic-leather-back-strap-sandals-p-L36#323

I love these, especially in the rose gold, they would look lovely with a summer dress and a nice tan.
I look for a comfortable sole and a strap round the back as feel like they are the most comfortable styles. I like these as they wont create big odd tan lines across my feet!
We are going to florida and will be exploring the parks all day, so I am on the look out for some seriously comftable sandals for that and have seen fit flops recommended several times
