After years of probably having to watch all sorts of wonderful and occasional strange children’s TV shows, it’s hard to not ending up having favourites...whether you love them in secret or not.]] would like to know which children’s shows you are more than happy to watch with your DC and why they’ve become your favourite.

Here’s what ]] have to say: “Now it’s the summer holidays, more and more families are streaming children’s shows such as Shaun The Sheep, My Little Pony, The Penguins of Madagascar and Just Add Magic. It’s great when you find a show that you can enjoy that works for both child and parent, and we would love to know what these shows are for you and your family.”

Has Dora the Explorer been an all-time favourite of yours for years because you end up learning things too? Perhaps you love trying to figure out who the baddy is in Scooby-Doo along with your DC? Maybe seeing Tom & Jerry on the screen always brings back some great nostalgic memories of when you were a child? Or do you love Postman Pat purely for the great theme tune?

Whatever your favourite children’s programme is, share them on the thread below to be entered into a prize draw to win 1 of 3 Amazon Fire Kids Edition Tablets, made just for kids.

Thanks and good luck

I actually quite enjoy Scooby Doo, I love trying to figure out ‘who dunnit’! I also like Pokemon, I’ve been known to delay going out of the door so I can watch the end!! My ultimate guilty please is Barbie in the dream house! My son loves it! It’s hilarious & makes fun of itself!

Hey Duggee
Do You Know
Go Jetters
Would genuinely watch all those whether or not DS was in the room. Sadly he's having a Peppa Pig phase now, so I'm having to manage without my CBeebies fix.

Ben and Holly has some very funny jokes for the adults in it

Absolutely adore Angelina Ballerina

I used to like Ben & Holly as I thought it was hilarious. Unfortunately my children don't like it any more.
At the they like watching Cbeebies and I admit to enjoying a few of their programmes, including My World Kitchen - some interesting recipes on there that we've attempted ourselves; Old Jack's Boat because it's set & filmed in Staithes, North Yorkshire, which isn't that far from me and I like looking at the scenery; and finally, How It Works just because it's interesting and informative and has sparked a few discussions.

I love Peppa Pig, not for Peppa, George or any of the other pig characters but purely for Miss Rabbit - she has that many jobs, I love to see what job they have doing for her next, oh and her attitude, it makes watching Peppa Pig oh so worthwhile.

sealight123 · 18/08/2018 19:20

I secretly love My Little Pony...it's killing me inside that she's moved away from the pony phase back into the dinosaur phase :(

pontosj16 · 18/08/2018 19:59

Horrible Histories is hilarious!

Chazpants1 · 18/08/2018 20:51

Tefiti2 · 18/08/2018 21:18

Masha and the Bear! The songs are so catchy and there’s not a lot of talking!

natbee · 18/08/2018 22:30

I love Sarah and Duck and Paw Patrol. My son loves Wacky Races, which I grew up watching. Danger Mouse is another joint favourite.

DarkDarkNight · 19/08/2018 01:45

Ben & Holly because of Nanny Plum and Wise Old Elf. Very dry and funny. Unfortunately my son doesn’t like it anymore. Still likes bloody Peppa Pig though.

Go Jetters because it has made my son really interested and curious about the world.

I have a soft spot for Fireman Sam too.

DarkDarkNight · 19/08/2018 01:47
