After years of probably having to watch all sorts of wonderful and occasional strange children’s TV shows, it’s hard to not ending up having favourites...whether you love them in secret or not.]] would like to know which children’s shows you are more than happy to watch with your DC and why they’ve become your favourite.

Here’s what ]] have to say: “Now it’s the summer holidays, more and more families are streaming children’s shows such as Shaun The Sheep, My Little Pony, The Penguins of Madagascar and Just Add Magic. It’s great when you find a show that you can enjoy that works for both child and parent, and we would love to know what these shows are for you and your family.”

Has Dora the Explorer been an all-time favourite of yours for years because you end up learning things too? Perhaps you love trying to figure out who the baddy is in Scooby-Doo along with your DC? Maybe seeing Tom & Jerry on the screen always brings back some great nostalgic memories of when you were a child? Or do you love Postman Pat purely for the great theme tune?

Whatever your favourite children’s programme is, share them on the thread below to be entered into a prize draw to win 1 of 3 Amazon Fire Kids Edition Tablets, made just for kids.

Thanks and good luck

Horrible Histories

Pickofthepops · 16/08/2018 15:01

Hey Duggee - lucky enough to see it on the big screen at the BFI with our 3Y old. What else can entertain a 40y old and a toddler equally. Hope they make Duggee the movie sometime soon. PS 50 new episodes in production we were told

Fireman Sam. Everyone is so friendly, it makes me secretly very happy.

Faybexxx · 16/08/2018 15:47

I absolutely love Horrid Henry! I don't even pretend I don't love it either!

Thatlifewelead · 16/08/2018 16:40

Horrible Histories and Hetty Feather!

MistakenHoliday · 16/08/2018 16:47

Adventure Time and The Regular Show are brilliant, as is The Amazing World of Gumball!

SheSellSeaShells · 16/08/2018 17:11

teen titans - we just saw the movie I did chuckle into some of the jokes that went over my boys (7 and 4) head's.

mishknight · 16/08/2018 18:57

love Hey Duggee

EggysMom · 16/08/2018 19:18

Our son shows little interest in children's television, preferring cop shows and Judge Judy .... But we do all watch Horrible Histories at the weekend, which seems to stay tuned in even when our son leaves the room ....

ally1982 · 16/08/2018 19:33

I like watching Teen Titans

MtheWad · 16/08/2018 19:49

Tumble leaf! And Charlie and Lola.

43percentburnt · 16/08/2018 19:56

Abney and Teal.
Sarah and Duck - I’d love a flamingo.
Horrible Histories.
The Clangers

ClaireFraser · 16/08/2018 20:54

Shaun the sheep for the comedy, and also Bing. I have huge envy of Bing and Flop's lovely mid-century/Scandi style decor! I could happily move into their house! Blush

saraharchibald · 16/08/2018 21:09

I love the old Fred Quimby tom and Jerry epiosodes! Classics. I feel they have ruined so many old childhood classics, scooby doo for example, the powerpuff girls too, but the old Tom and Jerry episodes are still aired!

Hazlulu · 16/08/2018 21:47

Hey Duggee.

It's 21:45 and I'm here watching it by myself, hours after my son has gone to bed. The Space Badge.......it's awesome.

PashleyB · 16/08/2018 22:18

I love hey duggee

ProteinIsGood · 16/08/2018 22:45

Scooby Doo for me. I absolutely loved it as a kid and still do. It's one of my guilty pleasures.

Bubblemumma1 · 16/08/2018 23:47

Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom!

WhatILoved · 17/08/2018 06:58

Definitely hey duggee for laughs. So cleverly designed and written. I have also tried out lots of recipes from My World Kitchen!

Chocolatelavender · 17/08/2018 07:36

I love Sarah and duck, gentle, sweet and heartwarming and makes me feel feel happy and relaxed. Shaun the sheep and Ben and Holly make us laugh, there's jokes for adults and children. I love the wise old elf and nanny plum Grin. Playschool (Australia) and Mister Maker give us some really fun craft ideas so I love them too.

Alltheprettyseahorses · 17/08/2018 08:12

I pretty much only watch kids' tv now so this is easy.

Something Special
Show Me Show Me
Scooby Doo (the new one)
Miraculous Ladybug
Tangled
Sofia The First
Elena
Ben & Holly
Peppa Pig
Barbie Dreamhouse
Horrible Histories
Fort Boyard
Spirit

My favourite films are Descendants 2 (far, far better than the first one) and Barbie: The Princess and the Popstar

I enjoy a lot of the CBBC stuff with my dd's - dengineers, marry mum & dad, horrible histories, the next step! I get quite involved with them

Used to enjoy Charlie & Lola, Pingu, Show me show me, found them relaxing and enjoyable to snuggle up with the girls when they were little
