I was awarded 2 weeka ago march 21st dm phoned me Monday awarded text tuesday

Just rang and the man said my application wouldn’t be anywhere near being with a DM

The wait times for backpay from UC are ridiculous. My child was verified over 2 weeks ago and still not received a letter about backpay!

NC SD 18/06, just called now to be told a decision was made on 27/08 and to wait for a letter. Any ideas how long that usually takes? If it was awarded how long between the decision and backpay? My nerves are shot haha

Omg. 2 months???? That is a joke!! They’re just completely ignoring me. I’ve put loads of messages in my journal.

Same here im being ignored the only message I got from them was its been sent to a dm but there is no wait time and we have no knowledge as to where the dm is with claims so there is no time frame it'll be done when its done basically! Felt like saying yes love you just take your sweet old time we've only been waiting a whole year im sure some more waiting won't hurt 🙄

Yes it’s bad. Mines already been with the dm and they’ve said I will get back pay. Just awaiting that letter. It’s ridiculous.

heard nothing back yet called DLA today who couldn’t give me any timescale just said they had high volumes of claims.

I’ve submitted a complaint about the wait times to UC. Can you tenner who else did this? Because it was sorted more or less straight away wasn’t it?

Can someone please tell me the numbers that I need to press when I call to find out the decision on my claim. As I rang and they said they couldn't tell me over the phone

My friend done a COC around 15th march and shes just had a call from fhe DM today. Just for anyone looking to know what sort of dates their on

I submitted a complaint for UC back in November when my daughter was first awarded. I got the decision and back pay in 5 days .

That bit didn’t take long. Probably about 2 days. But now they are taking the pi** with the backpay.

That's awful, I submitted a complaint again as they asked me to report the change twice, and now they keep ignoring me.

It’s ridiculous. I’ve just looked. 22nd August I got message and the decision letters. And I’ve had nothing since. How can I contact them other than my journal? I’ve had nothing since correspondence from the complaint either?

I think you can call UC and ask to speak to a manager in regards to your complaint.

MR scan date 12.02, called today and still not been assigned to a dm, said they'll flag is as priority as it's overdue and to call back Friday 🤷‍♀️

Guysss they changed my award from middle rate care to high rate! For an MR When you do a change of circumstances on universal credit do you put the date the change happened as the day the higher rate was awarded or do you put the initial claim scan date?

Congratulations. You put the initial date, ask for the difference in disabled child element to be backdated too
