Yes your so right at the beginning of August I gave up, just waiting for a reply. I called and was told to write again on the journal which I have done, also it doesn't seem like the call handlers at UC know much, and aren't able to answer questions just directing you to write on your journal. Fingers crossed this route gets the answer my child deserves x

Did they say if it was or wasn’t with a dm this time? Surely it has to be soon, the scan date before you has already received their decision so you’ve got to be next.

Did you send much evidence? Unless they have contacted someone. None of mine have ever been with a dm over a day but I’m expecting my coc to be longer because I’ve sent so much in, so could just be that.

I sent in a fair bit I think, I rang up last week and they said it was with someone already for 2 days, rang today and it’s still with someone 🤷🏽‍♀️

Hiya im looking for advice for a friend. Does anyone know if UC backdate child dissability and carers element if the person was not on UC before their child was awarded DLA. Thanks

No they will only backdate while she’s been on UC not before receipt of UC

haven’t got a text or a letter yet! :)

I have been wondering how long after the decision is made it would show as pending in a Monzo bank. I would call option 4 and they will be able to let you know what has been awarded

Someone on Facebook had an MR decision with a scan date of 12th April!

as much as this is close to my date it also means how all over the place they are with others still waiting from Feb!

Deadline for backdating is tomorrow (4th September), sent mine today recorded delivery so guaranteed to get there by 1pm tomorrow. Hope it works!Made a copy just in case so fingers crossed
