MR 28/11 - more than 25 weeks now. Told to call back in two weeks as they are working on 13/11 currently.

Just had notification of back pay due into my account in 5 days. No text or letter. On hold now to find out rates. This will help my son so much I could cry (happy tears) 🥲

Anyone else still waiting from Jan..we are 31st still not hear I sent full autism and adhd diagnosis, salt report, ot report and school statement and we get mrc lrm for her twin so feeling should qualify but getting worried that everyone from Feb seems to be hearing.

Mine has been in que for two weeks what ever that means. I have sent autism diagnosis, echp, sleep clinic, occupational health, psychology, lots of school evidence although he's no longer in school.

called today at 11.50 call was answered straight away and was put through to a lovely person. He said that my MR still hadn’t been assigned as there’s a high number of MRs currently.
He said that it would likely take a few more weeks.

We are sd 20/01. Not heard anything, starting to wind me up that others have heard and theirs got sent way after. But heyho fingers crossed we both hear soon.

I’ve just seen on another thread that there is a petition to try to stop the government removing special needs support for children in school. They seem to be planning to take away EHCPs in mainstream schools. I thought I would repost the petition link here as also relevant to many of our dc who are applying for or renewing DLA and I have signed it.

Managed to get though before they closed my claim is now with decison maker so hopefully not too long now.

Discusting, my son I've had to remove from mainstream he now has echp, I cannot get him into special school, I've no option but to try again September back into mainstream, he's been home schooled since October. If they take away the echp from mainstream there will be a crisis as there's no special school places. Despicable, I feel like my son, fits in no where, doesn't fit special school nor does he fit mainstream, inbetweener so sad !

Least u have clarity on where ur claim is, I rang this morning , they said my claim is open but decision hasn’t been made yet I’m hoping this also means with a decision maker?

I think that sounds like it's with decision maker or they've been working on it to make decision, I reckon you should hear in the next week, when was your scan date

I thought this myself but didn’t want to get my hopes up, I did say what does claim open mean she said a decision hasn’t been made yet

Hope you hear by the end of may, they seem to be working on them faster, sounds promising yours will be sorted in the next week or so, sometimes if it's open it could be that they've contacted gp or school for more evidence and waiting them to get back to them ? It's annoying when they're not transparent on the phone, when I first rang today she said 25 weeks straight away I was like but it's not, then she said oh actually yours is with decison maker. Hope she's not just saying that. Good luck hope you get the outcome for your little one you need

I hope so too for my son he so deserves it and so does everyone else that have applied, Yeahh I did ask what claim is open meant but she just said the claims open so in my eyes to me sounds like someone is looking at it, fingers crossed, I will post on here if I hear anything anyway, it’s bank holiday plus week of school until 2nd June

Quite a few febs been done today, but there dates are after ours, so annoying

NC SD 31/01/25 - called up today to be told decision not been made so I asked if it was with a decision maker and he said it has been assigned to one, however this could still take up to 25 weeks 🙄don’t know if I’m being told the truth as see some people have received decisions from SD Feb!

@Antelope9 we are in a very similar situation! Please share the petition with everyone you know because we will only stop this if we show the government people won’t accept this.
