I felt the exact same, even when it came down to her toilet needs I felt like I was shaming her but I knew it needed to be wrote down. Upon looking at some people on the form I honestly don't think some case managers look at there forms properly I've seen so many people sending so much evidence in and it not being looked at properly.

Thank you for working them out for me I was just so unsure, do you need to wait for a letter to tell uc and apply for carers xx

Just rang for the first time, she said my claims still open, I said what does that mean she said a decision hasn’t been made

Does anyone know what “claim is still open “ means ?

I’m not sure for certain but you should be able to message UC to get it updated and request back pay from them too

I’ve just rang lady I spoke to said my claims still open is still open I said what does that mean she said a decision hasn’t been made

Morning just off the phone they have made a decision on my MR (sd 14/11) on the 21st I’ve been told no one can tell me over the phone and I have to wait for my letter. So guessing that’s a decline! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear!!

Me too I just phoned for first time.. they said it isn't with decision maker yet .. shouldn't be too long as I am in the position before it

U got abit more info than me I asked what claim is open meant she just said not made a decision yet

I asked what that meant in terms of waiting and how long before it gets to them.. very brief and he said if I ain't had a decision by the 2nd week in August to phone back' as that is 25 week mark. Long wait for me maybe

@Kirstylou91 just got off the phone.My daughters should of been renewed back in January but forms went missing even tho I sent them last October 😕 so they had to send a new form so now classed as a new claim. She just said it still hasn't been assigned to a DM . And they are advising new claim are taking 25 weeks but could be sooner.

That’s what I said it’s like they pick up any form and go with with it my SD is 06/02 and someone yesterday got awarded from a SD of 13/02

Same I ain’t ringing until mid June even though today was my first time calling

Yea rang the other day Monday morning and they said it’s still in que and got 6 to 7 weeks to go and when I mention how is it possible for people to be awarded from feb she was like well I don’t know where you got that info from as we haven’t awarded no one from feb yet well I know there lying

That is a blatant lie there’s been loads from Feb been awarded this month
cant trust what they say
