oh no 😢 so sorry, definitely get a statement of reasons and appeal, this is what I’m dreading has haven’t really got any evidence from school she masks xx

@Kelz23 my daughter same masks at school she's 6 and school constantly tell me she's too young to mask 😂 she's been under paediatrician, family support etc since she was 2 . My oldest daughter is 14 and I've asked for a good 4/5 years for help with her always been told nothing wrong with her because she good in school. She's now 14 under mental health and them now deciding she needs help and wanting to refer for ADD, anxiety, really behind in school her attendance is awful due to trying to get her to attend. I am a big believer the girls get let down in the system Due to their masking x

How to you get a statement of reasons she said I have a letter in the post xx

My daughter has an asd and adhd diagnosis, but she doesn’t have the outbursts at school like she does at home. It’s awful.

Call back and say I’ve been refused can you either post me the statement of reasons or ask them to read it out to you x

@Kelz23 exactly same as my girls. My 6 year old has a diagnosis for ASD but school keep telling me she's fine nothing wrong with her even when she refusing to go into school etc. they won't give her extra help even tho they admit she struggles with noise been in a large group sitting down just keep telling me it's her age 🙈

Yea I rang dead on 9am someone answered me straight away and said my decision was made yesterday and I haven’t been awarded xx

my eldest 2 are 13, 12 they went through primary school fine. They got to high school and bang they are in trouble and can’t cope. The one has ehcp the other other we are in process

the one I’m applying for is in year 3 at the moment, and I know the same will happen with her. She is probably the worst one at home I really struggle with her the most. But she behaves at school 🤷‍♀️

The schools r getting worse I had this with my son in primary school kept telling them he’s got ADHD as he masks it quite Abit at school they kept telling me nothing wrong with him then 6 months before leaving they did a report for me to send to GP for paediatrician as showing ADHD traits , soon as he started infant school his needs were evident , got a gd statement from the school senco. The thing that pissed me right of was a teacher telling me
nothing wrong with my child we know our children the best so don’t try to be telling me there’s naff all wrong with him

The system fooked and the schools don’t really want to know when they are behaving there. I moved my daughter school and it’s still the same no support.

The kids that mask in school r the ones that find there home a really safe please where they can let lose
my son he’s 8 Tuesday 🥳 as soon as I pick him up and he gets in the car he lets out a massive animal noise flaps howls the lot this is every time without fail, in school he squirms in seat, can’t regulate his emotions has sessions with ELSA makes noises in class hits other children becomes violent and has no sence of danger, I just hope that is enough for them 🤞
