It’s so bad, I’m struggling to provide for my son, had to borrow money to make adaptions to my home for his safety and had to scrimp and save to get him a wheelchair which he desperately needed and now this, if his MR is declined I won’t even bother going to appeal because it’s just adding stress that I don’t need right now. I will be 22wks on Friday for MR x

Hi, Anyone have any update on uc backdate? We told uc about the change on 16th may and have had one message reply on the journal saying children have been verified. But no reply about back date. Ive asked a few times but no response. Nearly 2 weeks now. Any advice off anyone whos going through the same uc issue? What does it mean when theyve been verified. Thanks in advance x

Is this for a new claim? Are new claims processed quicker? Xx

Another 24/2 so that makes it 13 and a half weeks for a decision that is extremely quick

NC SD 17/2

hi all scan date was 31/1 I got back pay on 16/5. Over the moon. Could anyone advise next / first payment? As I was paid back pay on a Friday - I know it’s 4 weeks but would it be the following Tuesday 17/6 or the Tuesday before I’m confused?!

They will have paid you up to the 13th and then will be 4 weeks from then so looking like 10th June

Same here I left 3 messages on my UC yesterday about back payment and no one is getting back to me
is there something specific we need to do other than write on the journal?

Yes they working on NC a lot quicker than MRs and COC

First time posting- NC SD 31/01, just received a back payment which works out as MRC- so relieved! I did ring up 2 weeks ago at the 15 week mark and they said it would be by end of July (25 weeks) and I was polite but did say we were struggling, paying for private therapy which is desperately needed etc, so I think explaining this probably helped.

Given the state of the NHS and CAMHS, DLA is an absolutely life line and I’m just so relieved. I hope those waiting, particularly with earlier SDs get a resolution soon!

Called up just now was on hold around 10 minutes, called about my daughters NC SD27/02
they said that it was still in the holding queue and the usual will take 25 weeks but she did then go on to say hopefully won’t be much longer. Good luck everyone x

Renewal 22/6 still no Tex. my last payment is 10th June, does anyone know if this will be the full payment? I don’t want to ring again I last called last week

Not really, I sent in his melatonin prescription, ed psych report, asd diagnosis and a supporting letter from my husband and myself, he's home educated so didn't have evidence from the school.

NC SD 29/01
Not even been looked at as of Friday last week.
Seems the dates are all over the place for these claims being awarded or not.

In the meantime DS has had his autism assessment, and made them aware last week that verbal confirmation of autism and PICA, but the outcome report hasn't arrived yet to confirm the diagnosis.
