First time posting but have been watching for a while.
Nc scan date 16.01 for my 3 year old son.
Got a payment at 12am from dla.
No text received and hadn't called for an update except a couple of weeks back to check new evidence received so was a nice surprise as I checked all the time 🤣

I’m waiting for a renewal for my son aswell his doesn’t end until 12/7, I wonder if they do go by scan date and if some are close to renewal date but they haven’t sent there renewal forms til late they get put in the queue so it’s done on time? What’s your scan date?

My scan date is 18th of Feb so I'm hoping it's a few weeks before end date as I tried to get it in as soon as possible but I also sent more evidence with a scan date of 30th March. When I rang last month to see if the extra evidence had been received they said it was with the renewal DM but I think that means it was just in their list to be looked at. I did ask to be sent a text but not all DMs have the access to do so. I work for dwp and the text messaging service is few and far between and in honesty DLA seems abit of a mind field to me but I've asked as much info as I could on the phone to see how it works so I'm guessing it has been allocated and if it's on the system I think it is each case will have an end date on the tabs but if people keep sending renewals late or a week before their end date, ours will get pushed back each time and they will come above our children's case in the list to be looked at, if that makes sense.

16/05 renewal just called and still not done.

Good morning I gave in and called up this morning I was only on hold for about 10 minutes which was amazing! The lady was lovely and said the decision was made 20 minutes ago but she was unable to tell me the decision over the phone and to wait 10 days for a letter 🙈 hoping and praying for good news in this letter all this waiting is killing me off 🤣

forms are fine but I feel I’ve been patient enough now

i also got told it had been assigned to a dm, then yesterday it was waiting to be assigned to a dm, coc- 29/11

Hopefully we both hear soon
I have requested the senior management team call me
I dont want to jump any queue but I do want to emphasise the different messages I have been given

Does anyone know what number DLA call you on? Iv just had 2 missed calls in 2 minutes from a no caller ID and worried it’s them and iv missed it 🥴

100% i had a lovely gentlemen yesterday when i rang, which is rare as usually they can be quite blunt but he said something strange for dla- ‘when awarded you’ll have a big chunk of backpay come through’ which i think is strange for him to say on the call when supposedly no one has looked at it?

I did actually call straight back on option 4 and she told me he has been awarded and gave me all the information he's entitled to HRC & LRM and should receive the backpack by Friday next week I'm so happy I truly expected a decline. I did just think oh il wait another week or so for thr letter, started iriong next werks school uniforms and thought no sod it il try option 4 like everyone has done and I'm so glad I did! 😀

MR 10/12 - 20wks
Called for the first time today and all she said was they have an influx of MR’s and it hasn’t been allocated to anyone yet so wait for the 25 weeks. I’m just going to wait until time's up before I try again, no point in keep calling to hear the same thing I guess.

Scan date 13/1 and haven’t heard anything yet, iv seen someone from the 16/1 has been awarded today

Maybe that shows then they need to be looking at the claims more thoroughly to award the correct thing in the first place 🤣

Just got off the phone to them and still not been looked at, woman on the phone was lovely and realistic. Told me it was still waiting to be looked at and she said it was a joke that it hasn't yet as it should of been by now. Told me to ring back next week if I don't hear anything in the next few days.
So the wait continues and with bank holiday next week I'm guessing I'll be here for another 2 weeks atleast.
They've had forms for 27weeks now but it took 2 weeks for them to scan aswell so my patience is running out.
