@ByChirpy I got my letter on uc journal yesterday to say they will back date money

so don’t know how long I have to wait for that now

Congratulations, wasn’t this for a coc? How many months have they left you before the renewal? This is my worry because I’m not due to get a decision for my daughters coc until end of September / beginning of October then the mobility form will come august and her renewal will be April which makes the coc pointless 🤦‍♀️ but her needs have increased massively and I have all the evidence now to support that!

it gives me exactly 1 year this month
I think it is because my son is hospital educated at home and is awaiting special educational school if he will go there so they can not get input from a educational setting as he hasn’t been to school for 2 and half years

still nothing although I did have a letter on my journal Monday to say yes they will back date x

Sending wishes for everyone else to get theirs through. I'm going to get my son some clothes and book a regular taxi for school so my husband can up his hours at work. I've been crying this morning it finally feels like a bit of good luck! Son is 15 so I guess this will be until he's 16 then PIP?

Also I think that's medium rate by the looks of it?

I only updated my journal on Saturday but also made a post on there to ask it to be backdated and they misunderstood and told me how to do the change of circumstance which I had already done 🤦‍♀️
Ive also done carers allowance but I clicked I wasn't receiving yet on UC as I'd only just applied for carers as its a new claims so hopefully once that goes through it will automatically tell UC? X

When I looked on my journal from last time it took 3 months altogether from verifying to payment date but they'd said how much I was entitled to backdating amd forgot to issue it so that took a month on its own x

Congrats on your award, my eldest was awarded when she was 14 and they gave her an award til she was 17 to give the time to move over to pip. I agree middle rate care, they must be working through the back log and getting wait times down I bet that was a unexpected shock to see that in your bank this morning ☺️ can I ask was the dyslexia and dyspraxia reports done privately? I keep getting told by school it’s private only.

My scan date is 28th I was told yesterday it’s was with a case manger

Scan date 24/01. I keep getting told different things when I ring! On hold now to ask if a decision has been made. Fingers crossed as a couple of people with similar scan dates have! 🩷

Scan date 4/12 phoned this morning to say we will send a letter could I please stop calling. I just wanted to know where I stand as I get it's any time now till the middle of June then I get it's anytime now don't call again we will send a letter 25 weeks next the 28th may so I just have a bit of hope xx

maybe people would stop calling if they all sing from the same hymn sheet and say the same thing! It’s so frustrating for us cus they keep telling us different things and we can’t seem to get a straight answer!

It is someone said on here it'd be so much easier if you could log in to see the outcomes and chase the status instead of keep ringing. My applications been with a decison maker for 4 months now lol so I said 4 months just sat there same as everyone else's claims that's quite bad I know there's a back log but shouldn't just be left and us told to wait for a letter. It's hard enough waiting with no text or anything it's not just about the money Isit even though the money helps the child a hell of alot because it's hard to fund extra when your child needs specific items my sons got pics he eats anything I have to replace it but he can't help it he's also adhd. My daughters waiting for assessments and has flat foot knocked knees so she struggles to walk but the school said she will grow out of it well she's not she's struggles with p.e and even school shoes she goes through a pair a week it's hard to fund that. So when we phone it's literally because we need to know where we're at as parents to help our children not because we not patient and that's how they treat you xxxxx

People would stop calling if they had an online system that you could log in to and check whether it has been actioned yet. It must be cheaper for them to do that than have to answer the phone all day to give the same information.

Just got through to the nicest lady I’ve ever spoke to! Why can’t they all be like that?! Said with a decision maker since 6th may and if I haven’t heard by middle of next week to ring and I should hopefully hear a decision by then!

NC 20/1 decision made yesterday 13:5 but couldn’t tell me over the phone…
