Anyone had any updates on renewals for June? Mine is 22/6 I called yesterday and still no update but I’ve seen some get done for July and August! It’s so frustrating x

My renewal is after yours but I’ve noticed the people that have had there renewals done early seems to be people that it hasn’t been there first renewal and have been on Hrc and Hrm award. It might just be a theory 😂

This happened to me a few months ago. The responded late around 7/8 week mark. Once passed deadline give them a ring and make them aware. They should chase them up. I’ve been waiting nearly 6 months for a tribrunal date nothing so far!

Thankyou for this, I had a feeling it would be a long one, I hope you hear soon!

The wait is awful isn’t it! Especially the closer we’re getting. I have sent so much evidence but still
worried as it seems it pot luck at the min!

Lion10 · 13/05/2025 11:26

Looking at dates awarded and dates waiting it doesn't seem to be in any particular order🙈 so confusing

Dragonfly13 · 13/05/2025 11:31

Minnie83 · 13/05/2025 10:06

I'd guess high rate on both 🤷

Just got through and it’s hrc and lrm x

clareykb · 13/05/2025 11:54

I think it's never going to be in an exact order as some claims will be more straight forward than others so it will always be approximate. I work in a job where I assess for other things regarding disability amd some assessments just taken longer than others especially either end so borderline as you need to often get more info and ones that are going to cost a lot and have very high needs as everything needs to be water tight to get it agreed with managers. I'm also guessing if its like us they don't do one then finish amd go on to the other, they might have a few straight forward ones they can do that with and then others they need to go back to.

Betsy93 · 13/05/2025 12:33

Just recieved a letter saying claim is still being looked at and could take 15 weeks
My scan date is 7th march 🤦‍♀️

I was shaking I thought it had been declined 🤦‍♀️

candywoo · 13/05/2025 12:35

Renewal due 16/05 and called today for an update. The decision was made on 9/05 but won’t tell me over the phone. How long did it take for the letter to arrive?

Letters can take a week maybe longer, I would call back and say they wasn’t able to see the award details can you tell me 😂 I would be so impatient to be waiting for a letter

My SD 7th march had a letter couple of weeks ago saying sorry it’s taking long , I’m just going to wait now as it seems they are on the scan dates for NC’s beginning of jan, letter says 15weeks but when you call they say 25 weeks? I don’t think they are communicating with each other, dates seems to here there and everywhere at getting accepted

Scan date for my daughter 4/12
Just phoned and got please don't contact us again you will receive a letter. The forms been with. Decison maker for 4 months now x

TheLemonCat · 13/05/2025 14:29

They would save themselves at least 50% of phone calls and frustration if they just had an online portal where you could check the progress of your application.

Current approx wait times.
Status updates - in queue, with decision maker, approved, decline etc.

It’s 2025 for god sake.

Sarahlou15 · 13/05/2025 14:31

decision made for my sons MR longest 28 weeks
my son has gone from MRC to HRC and kept on LRM til 2026 they didn’t change the date from original decision (which is a pain)
happy with this
good luck

@Selblockh @megan345
So I bit the bullet and rang today but rang option 2 instead of 4 was only on hold 5 minutes! Still not been looked at! But the woman on the phone was also very shocked and kept saying oh my God no oh my God no it's not right. She then said she was going to transfer me to someone else didn't say who. They answered within minutes and he was lovely too said that they are working at 25 weeks so yes my claim is now over that time frame so he said he would make some enquiries whatever he means by that 🤔 said if I haven't heard anything by Tuesday next week to ring back. But did say that they are very busy with new claims and due to my claim being coc unfortunately it isn't a priority because I'm not out of pocket so to speak. But he then said I will make some enquiries for you and get this sorted. Not holding my breath x

@ByChirpy fingers crossed it’s like when I called and they put ad urgent
I would call again Thursday and Friday

I hope you get the right outcome

x
