called today and they said to call back at the end of July - early August but then I called before and they said that COC was over 25 weeks so who knows. I hate the wait times they give me so much anxiety and they shouldn’t be giving 2 different wait times one by post and the ones they give you over the phone. Good luck everyone x

Maybe they really do need to be Pacific with there dates there telling people over the phone & on letters x

NC SD 08/01/2025 I phoned today as I’ve seen people with dates after mine been awarded and she said it’s in a holding queue for decision maker. How long have people waited after this xx

So I decided to call today nc sd 14/01 as I wanted to check progress and to say my childs ehcp is being sent out tomorrow and wondered if it was worth sending in. Confusing phone call in the first breath when I said I wanted an update the woman said its 25 weeks then when I said about sending ehcp as further evidence she said oh if you want to send more evidence I would do this ASAP preferably tomorrow. I now think they are just scripting the 25 weeks when I said what stage she just said its not with a caseworker yet as there's no name linked on there. If it's that urgent for me to send additional info tomorrow I think it's probably nearly with a case manager

I’m sure it’s a couple of werks it all depends on them really my friends claim was with a Dm for over 2 weeks my Sd is the day after yours so hopefully not waiting to much longer

I phoned on Friday just to check the evidence I had sent had been received and was told mine was with a DM. They did say the wait is up to 25 weeks for a new claim. Not heard anything since.

I called today was told just waiting to be picked up by DM and could take 25 wks

i called last week at 26 weeks for COC mobility claim and the guy ACTUALLY told me to call back at 30 weeks!

No way!!! The woman last week seemed shocked that my sons hadn't been looked at yet and told me to give it one more week and ring back and basically told me to complain/stop being so patient

I probably got another 4 weeks to wait for UC credit to back date

im sure I did see quite a few ppl get there’s quickly but someone else on here said upto 6 weeks

They said last week to ring back Friday but i think I might ring today after school run just to see if they say 30 weeks. 🤯 Yes I've done option 4 they seem to be nicer to speak to x
I've seen a few say 2-3 weeks for uc so hopefully you won't be waiting much longer 🤞🤞🤞 when I finally get a answer hopefully what I'm asking for with my coc then I'll have the wait of uc too. Why is it we have to wait so bloody long 😫 x

we have the same scan date so fingers crossed, i want to call today but ive called every week for the last 3 weeks and now i feel like im getting really really impatient (i have a time frustration thing) and i cant seem to just put it at the back of my mind and wait!

Just called for an update sd 23/1/25 the lady on the phone said it’s waiting to be picked up by a dm and that I’m only week 15 so still another 10 weeks to go and then said okay bye before I could even finish my sentence, does this mean it is still in a holding que or? Sorry I’m a little confused

I’m at 16 wks I called yesterday got told the same thing just waiting to be picked up by DM

I'm sure this has been asked before but..
I sent off application on 4th March, post tracking shows they got it on the 5th.
We haven't had any letter / text / confirmation to say they've got it and it's in their system.
I called up because I needed a DLA reference to send off extra evidence, and they said I'll get a letter soon.
Is it normal that i've had no confirmation they've recieved it?

just called them again as they sent a letter with my daughters middle name as her first this morning it’s with DM now just waiting for them to start on it

ive just called and on the phone he said 25 weeks absolute minimum and doesnt have any other infomation to give me, i asked about seeing if it was close to being with a DM as others have had that infomation given and he said no its literally minimum 25 weeks, my scan date is 14/01 :(

Got my decision mr scan date 07/11 moved from mrc no mobility to hrc low mobility until 2032 x

im on week 16 and havnt had any letter either, i had to call 3 weeks ago just to double check theyd actually gotten it

My sd 9/1 I’ve had 2 conformation letters I rang last week and they said mine is not with DM yet
