Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court

scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision

original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update (0800) 121-4600

currently we are beginning of July and some last June dates! xx

SD 5/7 received back payment today!

Believe it to be HRC.

Seeing a lot of decisions today which is good to see. We’ll be week 10 on Thursday so still a while to go but it definitely helps seeing them getting through decisions!

I really don’t understand it, that’s why I said they are confusing. Seems everyone here gets different information. Having said that I seen a decision made for the 15/07 today and last week they were only on 2/07 seems so many been awarded this week. Maybe they are trying to get through the back log before Xmas and new year. Wishful thinking eh. My son really wants a ps5 for Xmas, I’m currently trying to save for it, but have 3 other children so it’s so hard. His money would help so for Xmas for him. X

I feel so disheartened. My application date was 6th of august, but as there was a fault with online application they sent me out a hand written application to complete which they received back on the October 4th - it took them a month to tell me there was a fault with online application.

so in my head I thought my SD was 6th of august and hoping to hear soon, to now being told my SD is October 4th meaning I will be waiting to atleast February. And I’ve been phoning like an idiot asking for updates and one agent told me it should be done before Christmas - clearly not the case at all! Gutted

Don’t know if this can be done but why can’t they add it to the fault application they must of received something for them to tell you there was a fault?

Just called for an update as I'm 18wks tomorrow. Think I've been really lucky as I've called twice now and have been answered in less than 5 minutes! Got the generic "20wks on 4th December" but also said I'm in the queue for decision maker and I'll receive a text before a letter...my little brain has come up with 12 thousand different scenarios of what that could mean (is it being looked at now? Have we been declined?? 😫) reality probably is they'll say whatever to get you off the phone 🤣 the not knowing is awful.

I was told my application was in the queue for dm at 10 weeks of my sd? So I think that’s where they all stay until allocated hun x

SD 24/10 for renewal
Received a letter this morning saying that they've made a decision. Award kept the same and been awarded it this time round till he is 16.

That wouldn't surprise me in the slightest after reading all these threads and other families posts. The wait is a killer. Our 20wks is up on the 4th Dec and my child turns 16 on the 5th Dec 😫 I'm going to have to do this all again with PIP soon enough whatever the outcome from DLA

So sd the 16/07? I seen a one for the 15/07 yesterday so maybe not to long hun good luck? X

I’ve got even longer 😭😂 have you seen any MR dates today? I resent some additional evidence signed for 3-5 days this time, wasn’t willing to pay the £9 odd for next day 😂

Just some for the last week of June/ beginning of July🤦🏽‍♀️ I’ve got evidence I’m waiting on but could take a couple of weeks so not sure if I’ll have time🤦🏽‍♀️ have they scanned yours on the system?

Called just to see, expecting to be told no decision, but was told decision was made yesterday.. was told awarded till 2026 but not what the award was and wouldnt put me through to find out told me to wait for the letter 🙄🤣 new claim, sd 8/7 xxx fingers crossed you all get your awards very soon xx

Just seen someone was awarded from 11/07! Getting closer I hope 🤣😵‍💫 anyone else with SD 12/07? Mine is a new claim

Also a scan date of 12/07, tried to call Friday but the phone went silent and cut out 😅

I spoke to a man yesterday and he said although 29th is the 20 week mark it’s possible it’ll be within the next week 🤞 x

This happened to me! I rang last week to find out if the extra evidence I sent had been received, waited 33 minutes lady comes through repeating hello and then cut off 🤣😩 I give up and didn’t call again lol x

Just rang sd 10/7 decision made today HRC LRM payment sent ! I’m over the moon 🎉 I still can’t believe it !!! Thank you all I’ve been silently watching you have all kept me goin !!!!
