Hello everybody, I have made a new thread please put in your scan date, hopefully we hear some good news this month. please be kind and feel free to share scan date, entitlement award and what child is diagnosed with as others in similar position can feel uplifted in these stressful times. 💐

New claims (NC) are taking ‘around’ 20 weeks.
Mandatory Reconsideration (MR) & Change Of Circumstances (COC) between 20-25 weeks approx.
Renewals between 15-20 weeks approx
tribunals: when you disagree with MR and are considered by a court

scan date (SD) date form was scanned on the system and counting weeks for decision

original claim date: date you called up for the forms and you will be backdated

UC : universal credit
DWP: department of work and pensions
DM: decision maker; the person who assesses each claim and awards/decline a case

number for an update (0800) 121-4600

currently we are beginning of July and some last June dates! xx

I would think the same. They wouldn’t have wanted the extra evidence if it was going to be a decline.

My son already recieves MRC and LRM but believe he deserves HRC and HRM which is what our MR is for

sd 8/7 new claim, just rang and got straight through, was told to ring in 10 days no decision yet and won’t say if it’s with decision maker or not xx

Maybe just call back again? Ask to be put through to someone that can tell you, or wait for back pay…

I did try to got through to a lovely man called Dan however he said he couldn't tell me so ill just await my letter.

On week 15, been quite chill up till now 😬 Have called twice since form sent off to check if extra evidence has been received.
I will hold off calling again till week 18 ish.

I’m not sure what to say to this. I was told they are being done in date order so as to be fair to everyone and the date decision maker gave was definitely 20th June so to hear awards after both of ours is mind boggling and annoying to be honest

I do! How long does it take to go into the bank after they approve it? Or does it depend on bank?

Really frustrates me tbh. That’s why I keep calling. Every time I see someone that’s after June/July I call up just to check😂 i think another 3/4weeks, hopefully just before Christmas with any luck🤞🏽🤞🏽

Called up today to check if my evidence I sent yesterday had been scanned on and it had.

new claim - 3/7 no decision yet

I’m not sure but from what I’ve seen it’s 3-5 working days. So if decision was made today weekend wouldn’t count so be looking at wed-fri next week xx

I feel like this week has been quite slow for decisions. I don't know if I can take another week of not knowing!!!!

Agreed been another rubbish slow one and extra stress on top of everyday life 😫

When they are saying it’s done in date order then yes! We’ve been told end of Jan to call up, I told the lady straight no I’ll be calling up before then, she laughed 😂 I was hoping it wouldn’t drag in to next year but I’m not confident

I believe they have contacted at weekends for extra info rather than to be awarded. Could be wrong

I’ve seen people awarded on the weekend and the lady on the phone today said they work weekends. Unfortunately my DM is off this weekend 🤣

Just wondering if anybody can help my evidence was lost and I finally got through to a lovely lady who finally found it they scanned it to a different bit so she transferred Me to somebody who has said he has had to allocate it to a case manager to move it over to my dd case. I'm just wondering if anybody knows if a case manager is different to a decision maker?
