DLA WAIT TIMES THREAD 48

Time for a new thread ready for another week of waiting.
Hopefully lots of us get the results we're so desperately awaiting 🤞🏻❤

Honestly I would write in your journel and just say you are in financial hardship and you need a reply as its affecting you that they are not replying and missing deadlines. UC always try and take the piss 🙄

My daughter was awarded 29th May they sent it to DM 4th June, I wrote on the 20th June that I was struggling financially they replied the same day saying they will escalate it with DM, I got the decision 21st and backpay the same day, hope they sort it for you, can't imagine how frustrated you are, they don't understand how long we have to wait for DLA x

That's what I was trying to do but it's my 40th on the 12th and my boys birthday in the 14th and I was hoping it would be finished by then so I could relax a bit not looking hopeful tho.

Nope she just said it is still being processed younwill get a letter by 20 weeks she was very....erm....efficient no chat or friendliness just straight to the point with my youngest sons claim theybwere always really friendly

Oh i can sympathise with you on that. I was hoping to have a decision by the 16th july just so i can enjoy the summer holidays with my kids. We have a holiday booked for first week of august and i just want to be able to enjoy it without the worry of waiting on a decision but it doesnt look like well have a decision anytime soon. I hope you manage to enjoy yours and your sons bday on the 12th and 14th and relax abit even iff a decision isnt made yet. But i shall keep my fingers crossed for you that you will recieve a decision soon🤞🏻

oh thats such a shame i mean it doesnt harm for them to be friendly when giving information . I physically cant phone myself as i get extreme anxiety making phonecalls and ive seen alot of posts about the call handlers not being very nice. Im already overwhelmed and stressed due to waiting for a decision to be made soo i think ill just avoid calling iff i can.

No text but backdated payment hit my acc this morning! Called them yesterday and they fobbed me off but today I called to check rates and we’ve been awarded HRC and LRM. Honestly I’ve cried happy tears on and off all day, such a weight lifted after so long 🥲

Hi all - I’ve been lurking for weeks. Scan date was 06/03 and back pay hit my bank today. I could cry! No notification my daughter had been awarded.

I think HRC and LRM from the amount received but my maths isn’t brilliant.

Hey sorry was a mad busy day with son and work didnt get a chance to reply, and no still no back pay even today son was up at 12am and 2am so checked bank both times and nothing 🙈 have you had yours xx

@Kayleigh32 same as me. My boy woke at 11:55pm haha. Stayed awake till not long after midnight and it went it!

I never got anything then rang for a update and got a scan letter a week after but nothing since then, so i wouldnt worry.

Aww amazing glad it went in for you! No mines still not gone in still hoping it will be this week at least just dying to know what hes got will probably end up with the letter before the payment knowing us haha

Scan date 08/03, I've not had a letter or a text but a payment has gone into the bank. All I've done is cry. My little girl. It feels like she's been recognised.

congrats on awards! any news from around 19/03 anybody 🤷🏻‍♀️ I feel like I’ve waited the whole time for 15 weeks, finally 15 weeks yesterday and nothing 😩

If anyone is waiting on an MR, I rang yesterday they are currently working on the back log of 19th March, 20th March might be assigned today, she said that I will have to wait up to another 3 weeks! 15 weeks is today for the MR!
A little annoyed but at least I got told the truth from a case manager, she did ask me what I was expecting from the MR to which I thought was weird, I said at least LRC, LRM Or MRC LRM, so I'm gunna wait until next Friday and call for an update just to see if it's been sent to a DM ☺️

Your so close now ring them up see what they say.. don't be afraid of them Your the one in charge and demand to no what's going on and what stage it's at.. don't let the snotty call handlers put you off.. it will help ease your mind a bit.. and I'm waiting on you to be awarded 🤞🏻
