DLA WAIT TIMES THREAD 48

Time for a new thread ready for another week of waiting.

Called today it's with DM and could be another 3 weeks
I'm going to call Wednesday and see if another person tells me the same thing. Apparently they are behind and is taking 20 weeks!
But who knows 😆

How annoying is it that they tell everybody something different....

Does anyone know how long after you get the decision does the money go in your account?

im 15 weeks today for MR and haven't heard.. too scared to ring so just checking my bank every day instead! I think I've got a few weeks to go before a decision.

My decision was made on Monday and paid in by Thursday. If that helps

No it’s not longer for a decline but the money usually goes in before you get a letter.

Dates awarded are: 2/04, 15/03 (COC), 13/03 (COC), 21/03, 12/03, 18/03 x2.

I may possibly be a bit obsessed currently 🥴

When i was waiting, a call handler told me that the people that answer the fones cant actually see if its with a dm or not the only thing they can see is if a decision has been made, they just tell people what they want to hear to get them off the fone. This was confirmed when i called a few weeks later and was told its not with dm and i was looking at 4 weeks minimum but then was awarded an hour later xx

There doesn't seem to be a clear order with dates unless the April was priority maybe. I'm waiting for MR 28/03 I have a feeling it'll be another decline even though my son's nursery who are very familiar with DLA claims think he qualifies for HRC based on what I've told them and what they deal with in nursery, but at this point I will take anything. The wait is unbearable I feel sick thinking about it.

My scan date is 15/3 phoned up yesterday to see where they was u to told me it went to a dm a couple of days ago so hopefully 🤞 not long now , saying they I have read on her that ppl have been waiting 2 weeks when sent over to dm so who knows good luck all who’s waiting awards as the end just seems to drag on now xx

I was told Monday it was with dm then told Wednesday it was not with dm and won't be for at least a couple more weeks then yesterday (had new evidence to send) that it was right at top of pile and hopefully go to dm over the weekend 😒

SD 10/4 - Reading through this, I'm sure it's worth the hassle of ringing up. Sounds like the information is deeply unreliable.

Has anyone written to their MP about the wait times? I think this should be raised in parliament.

Our application should be fairly straightforward (should, may not be!). My child goes to a special needs school and a lot of evidence was needed to show that was needed. But because getting DLA is a criteria of getting short breaks, it's effectively denying my child any summer holiday opportunities and making it very hard for me to do my job (as specialist childcare is all based around short breaks funding). So frustrating.

I sent off extra evidence and they received it on 8th April. Called up friday but said it hasn't been uploaded yet. For those who has sent in additional information, how long did it take you?☺️

I sent extra evidence on Thursday 4th July, rang Tuesday so 9th and they had it and it had been scanned onto my sons claim, they recieved it on the 5th

No decisions this weekend?

Just reading on the Facebook page someone's had a call from a dm today asking questions and then awarded. Said they were 17 weeks from claim recieved so they must be working overtime
