Time for a new thread ready for another week of waiting.
Hopefully lots of us get the results we're so desperately awaiting 🤞🏻❤

Evening all. Does anyone know what dates they are at roughly with the MR? Mine was put in beginning of May. Feel like I've been waiting forever, especially since I first put my claim in in January x

I rang last Wednesday she said they were on 19th March (mine is the 20th) I'll be ringing again this Wednesday for an update ☺️ it was 15 weeks last Wednesday she said they are behind and it could be another 3 weeks yet, but I have seen a few with MR done after my date too

I have a scan date of 28/03 for MR. I'm still waiting - I originally applied in October. The wait is horrible. Good luck! X

Good morning everyone 🫶🏻

hope to hear loads of awards this week, good luck 🙏🏻

Bella2220 · 08/07/2024 07:56

Morning everyone, fingers crossed for lots of awards this week!!

has anyone ever successfully claimed without a diagnosis, my DD has severe anxiety and ocd, she’s 9 but due to her routine I have to do everything with her, as in no one else can put her to bed, no one else can take her to school etc etc, she’s 9. However she doesn’t sleep well, she can’t be upstairs if I’m downstairs vice versa, sorry for the ramble I’m just worried the school has supported me in writing a letter explaining she has art therapy and counselling etc and the doctors have written me a brief letter saying she has anxiety/ocd however im just worried this one be enough, id love to be able to afford to pay for extra art therapy etc but because of the way she is I can’t even work at the moment because any major changes she can cause herself to get into a complete state and be on the toilet (if you know what I mean!). Apologies I’m rambling on now however I just want help for her and cahms have been useless, just a side note, we also can’t go anywhere busy or loud or she panics. but there is no diagnosis yet of ADHD or ASD so I just wondered whether people think I’ve wasted my time trying to get her support? Thank you lovely people ❤️❤️ xx

I got a text this morning and my daughter has been awarded. Does anyone know how quick the letter comes through. I don’t want to block up the phone lines for other people ringing really

NimbleQuail · 08/07/2024 08:13

I’ve seen people get their back pay before the letter arrives. Snail mail.

NimbleQuail · 08/07/2024 08:14

Also congratulations 🥳

I have just been awarded HRC/LRM AT MR and previously been declined for my daughter who suffers with deppression and anxiety due to trauma. So its is deffiently possible, i sent a copy of an email off 1 of her therapist, a hand wriiten letter from myself and a sleep diary. Sorry not much help but hope it gives you some hope, xx

NimbleQuail · 08/07/2024 08:20

I think we have the same SD. Maybe I will ring…?! Argh I hate ringing, I feel so pathetic and beggy. My daughter takes 24 tablets a day, I have to get them for her each time as she’s too ill to do it. Surely they can’t decline?? I bet they do though no one has been on our side throughout this (sorry I’m feeling sorry for myself today)

It’s really tough isn’t it. Especially when you don’t feel heard. My scan date was the 14/3

Thank you lovely that does give me some hope! It’s so draining isn’t it!! And the lack of sleep heightens everything as well! I have a 13 year old and this is a whole new level of stress ❤️❤️ congratulations on your award lovely I’m so pleased for you! Xx

UC said they have sent a payment on Friday for backdating does anyone know how long it takes to go into a bank account. I’ve spent 8 weeks arguing with them and want to know a time frame that’s acceptable before I call and ask about it

Yes same date. I think you should ring to see what it is. I don’t know why they can’t put it in the text or use email - imagine how much they spend on franking!

Got straight through and got hung up on 🥴 got straight through again and it’s not even been sent to DM yet.

MrsMacmumto6 · 08/07/2024 09:32

On the phone waiting for someone to answer… SD 20/3 (my second time calling I last rang 5 weeks ago about additional evidence) this is the part where I start to feel sick! Just completed a renewal for my eldest (just in time as they didn’t send out renewal forms), my middle is due for renewal may so will need to be done by Christmas.. just feels like a never ending anxious wait… fingers crossed for everyone this week

Hey, I will have a renewal coming up around Christmas time too, I was wonder what the renewal forms are like? Are they the same as the original claim form? Or a form to confirm things are still the same?

VLR · 08/07/2024 09:52

I rang to find out what has been awarded but they don’t want to tell me 😂

It’s the exact same form, include any original evidence sent for first claim and any additional evidence for changes in need. If you don’t get it back in time it’s classed as a new claim I think that’s why they delay sending them out or say they’ve sent it and it doesn’t turn up. They said they’d sent one I didn’t receive so requested another that didn’t turn up either but the third one did…. Just got off the phone still not with a DM due to go to a DM this week, hoping I get a DM who doesn’t leave my application in a pile and goes on annual leave that happened last year and I waited 22 weeks

What?! That’s ridiculous! Did you ring the long way?

Muse09 · 08/07/2024 10:15

Hi, my scan date is in May, so I have a while to go. But my daughter’s prescriptions have increased in that time. They do in increase or decrease care needs, more that they evidence them. Would you send this in as additional information?
