We've been awarded middle rate care. I think she qualifies for hrc, but as we haven't got an official diagnosis I'm pleased with the outcome xx

both my claims are finally done and I’m hoping tomorrow I get told it’s the right claim and I don’t have to fight it 🥰

Finally had acceptance letter for Autism assessment for my 5 year old , does anyone think this is enough information for dla , evidence sent to them is 2 speech and language reports letter from school, school filled in the someone who knows the child part of the dla form , I’ve sent her iep (individual education plan) both mine and schools referal forms to the social communication pathway and the acceptance letter received today for autism assessment which I will send tomorrow tracked, and letter from GP stating high dosage of drowsy piriton for sleep issues (this doesn’t work tho ) have to wait to see Camhs to prescribe something stronger such as melatonin I’m starting to get so nervous and anxious now feel like I haven’t filled things in in great detail or I haven’t sent enough 😩x?

ah thank you my nerves are gone! I wasnt aware we didn't get a text that's really disappointing as I didn't want to have to call. I called last time and they said he had been declined and I know I'll be a nervous wreck waiting for an answer! I have been told 8 weeks, 4 weeks, 11 weeks and 15 weeks it's ridiculous especially when it's MR and you've already been through it! I hope you get the outcome you deserve!

So once you get the back pay, are the payments then every 4 weeks from the award date?

Now onto the wait for my son, I've worked out it will be sometime in November for a decision for him so going to forget about it for now and enjoy not having to constantly listen to that awful hold music every day lol x

Thank you I have now put in a complaint. They have sent me a letter saying they have accepted the change of circumstances but the back dating is still with a decision maker

Thank you ☺️ I’m hoping so. His twin brother got HRC and I believe he’ll have the same as some of his needs are more than his brothers.

I just sent all the paperwork from CDC, School and everyone involved.
schools senco wrote in our forms too and explained the boys school needs and that they’re awaiting a EHCP in sept when they go to full time if they can. She explained they expect a reduced timetable as they do school nursery 3 hours and struggle x

@Kell85 ive put my complaint in aswell. I thought id told them on the 29th but i looked back and it was 22nd May. So once id realised it was 6 weeks i thought no chance. It should only take a month to sort. I complained at 4 weeks last time, someone advised from a different thread for child disabled element and it worked! Let me know how you get on! Hopefully your letter with payment amount soon! ❤️

Hey I sent this for my 3 year old son- he got awarded MRC today and I’m sending more evidence as he meets HRC criteria. I’ve written 9 pages of detailed behaviours etc daily routine! 🤞🏼

Thankyou so much hun for your reply ,,, yeah I am worried about rates too I believe she should qualify for HRC LRM as she has no sense of danger or directions needs supervision prompting and assistance throughout the day and both the night as she doesn’t sleep if she does it’s an hour or 2 max on and off every night,, she is extremely impulsive and violent and deliberately burns herself where she has required hospital treatment and also excessively climbs And will try to climb on and out of the upstairs windows she has split her head open once through this luckily this was the down stairs window and not the top window this time ,, she will run off try to elope the house excetra it’s honestly such hard work and so draining xx

our scan date is 14/3. I rang yesterday and just got told to wait 20 weeks so not to call before 4th of august !

Yea sounds so similar to my son hun. I spoke to his nursery she said you need to go into every little detail- as it normal daily life for us and we do it without thinking, it’s easy to forget writing down everything and all the care they need that’s isn’t typical behaviour for someone their age non ASD. I’ll let you know if I hear back (sending special delivery tomorrow morning!) good luck xx

@Emma2345 (Sorry if that sounded blunt) long day! 🤦🏻‍♀️ really hope your daughter gets the outcome she needs- that sounds so tough! You must constantly be worried. My son is ok with danger it’s more hitting himself and frustrated as he’s non verbal. So hard for them and us. Def get that extra evidence in it can’t hurt ! Xx

I sent autism diagnosis breakdown from psicon (sorry can never spell it!), his school senco filled in the ‘someone who knows your child’ part of the form, CSP’s from school as he doesn’t have an EHCP, sleep diary and prescription details of sleep/anxiety meds and also copies of a few emails about him running off school property during meltdowns and details of lessons he’s excused from (PE and food tech). I literally threw every single piece of info I could scrape up as I was worried we didn’t have an EHCP. I didn’t even realise he had proper CSP’s in place until I asked the school for help with defining his needs for the form! I thought the adjustments we planned together were just informal decisions so it’s definitely worth double checking! Good luck lovely, hope this helps x

I wonder if that's why the dm. Told. Me. Get my reports from next week's apps over ASAP as he had made his decision awaiting for his manager pass off then he said send in further reports... Still. Not had decision BTW spoke. To him yday
