Time for a new thread ready for another week of waiting.
Hopefully lots of us get the results we're so desperately awaiting 🤞🏻❤

Good luck. Let us know how you get on.
I'm going to hold out til 3 and then call. Not banking on anything changing but I can live in hope.

I’m about to loose my shit with UC they said to wait till 6pm yesterday for a decision and no decision was given, called today and said to wait till 5pm to see if decision maker has made a decision about back dated payments. I’ve waited since 20th may. If anyone is thinking about getting back dated payments for the elements added on I wish you luck

MVhx · 03/07/2024 14:03

I called and have been awarded MRC until Feb 2026! Going to be providing extra evidence as I believe he’s entitled to HRC but I’m happy there’s no more waiting. SD 13.03

Lexie365 · 03/07/2024 14:05

I seen a post of fb yesterday saying that the person they spoke to said that they can never actually check if it's with a decision maker or not and they just tell people that to get them off the phone! Few people commented and one said how it make sense as they were told it wasn't with a decision maker only to receive a text 5 minutes later that her child had been awarded!

MumOf6Beauts · 03/07/2024 10:32

If anyone is waiting on an MR, I rang yesterday they are currently working on the back log of 19th March, 20th March might be assigned today, she said that I will have to wait up to another 3 weeks! 15 weeks is today for the MR!
A little annoyed but at least I got told the truth from a case manager, she did ask me what I was expecting from the MR to which I thought was weird, I said at least LRC, LRM Or MRC LRM, so I'm gunna wait until next Friday and call for an update just to see if it's been sent to a DM ☺️

When is your scan date? I'm waiting for MR from 28th March so I'm hoping it won't be too far away I feel sick thinking about it. We were completely declined the first time so I'm worried it'll be the same again.

So pleased you've been awarded. Do you have to do MR for higher?

Strawbsss · 03/07/2024 14:11

Hi all,

If backpay was submitted by BACs yesterday (Tuesday), when should I expect it?

I would assume Thursday as Tuesday is day one, Wednesday is day two and Thursday is day three x

Thank you hun! Hope you hear really soon ❤️ No, she said if I get extra evidence over within 2 weeks it’ll go straight back to the DM for it to be reconsidered. His nursery haven’t provided much tbh and haven’t been that helpful so I’ve asked them to do a detailed report and I will also add written extra evidence. Good luck!

Considering they said the deadline was yesterday. They are awful to deal with. They say leave a message in the journal but I waited 16 days before I got a response

MumOf6Beauts · 03/07/2024 14:36

@Herecomestheson0106 my scan date is 20/03, so 15 weeks today! But she said on the phone quite rudely that they are trying to catch up on the back log but everyone is calling to be told to wait 15 weeks, so I told her it's been 15 weeks I was told 8 weeks from the get go then 11 now 15, I have a right to call and know! So I'll call next Friday if Iv heard nothing, as they won't text with an MR either, we were completely declined too! I'm hoping with extra evidence she'll get what's she deserves, fingers crossed for us both xx

MotherAndDSon · 03/07/2024 14:41

@ArtfulJoker did you get any update

Cassiex · 03/07/2024 14:44

S/D 19/4
I feel that I didn't do enough on the form.
My daughter is 3 and is currently awaiting an autism assessment.
She has has a salt assessment and I did include the report given l, however I was so overwhelmed with the whole thing I didn't get a report from her nursery.
They have referred her for ehc assessment and she has a lady go in once a week to work alongside her.
Also I put in my form that my daughter literally has the worst sleep pattern ever. She goes to bed at 8 wakes at 10.30/11 then is until 2-3 then back to sleep then up at 5.30!
She also has sensory issues (the salt confirmed this in the report due to my daughter hearing a noise and her reaction)
Her eating is hard work too. She has a small amount of things she likes nuggets with the skin removed pasta with tomato sauce only and her peas she has to pop out of there pods to eat in them.
When she walks she is on her tip toes and falls over everyday! She can't walk.when it's raining or windy as it makes her walking worse!
I still use a pram when we go out for long periods and also use it to and from nursery when it's raining or windy to try and protect her.
I have put this in the form but as it's just me telling them not a professional will this make my claim harder?
I am really worried as I have seen some people be refused due to lack of evidence.
Is there anything I can do to strengthen my case, as we are stil waiting for a autism assessment and I have been told it could be up to 9 months before one is offered.
Tyia x

I have had one letter a while ago saying it can take 15 weeks for a decision but nothing else. You?

I'm 15 minutes into the mind numbing music trying to get through. I'm not holding out any hope for an update though.
Good luck with your extra evidence 🤞 it makes the difference x

@Kell85 Put in a complaint. I did for my youngest daughter on a monday and it was sorted with money in my bank by the friday.

https://makeacomplaint.dwp.gov.uk

Can’t guarantee it’ll work but if you’ve put messages, they’re missing deadlines and it’s been weeks of waiting go for it. I’ve been getting more responses this time so I’m holding off until Monday for complaint.

Make a complaint about JSA or UC - DWP
