I can seem to have one bad meal out of 21 and lose a lb

L - french toast (HEB) with fruit

T - aldi skinny meatballs, 1/2 syn for 3? so 1 syn for those in a tomato sauce with pasta and cheese (HEA) and a slice of garlic bread (5)

S - quavers (4.5) fruit and tea/coffees (HEA)

Yesterday was...

Breakfast.....2 Weetabix with blueberries

Lunch... leftover chilli all free

Dinner...5 chicken nuggets so 8 syns I think. Then later on steak and salad all free

Today's plan.....I'm not feeling well so normally would eat all the toast etc but trying to stay on plan

Breakfast..... shredded wheat, blueberries, raspberries (frozen) and banana. Decaff latte.

Lunch.... probably another mushroom omlette getting a bit sick of this now. My SW food diary is mainly spinach eggs mushrooms 🤔

Dinner....can't wait for this. Homemade turkey meatballs, spaghetti and salad. Garlic bread for children. I don't like garlic bread thankfully!

Does anyone eat All Bran? I bought a packet as it was an ingredient in banana bread. Don't like it much but if it is very filling could have some to last until lunch.

Here goes for today:

B - poached egg, beans, toast (Hexb)

L - 1/2 pack sweet & sour rice (1 syn) sweetcorn, sweet chilli sauce (1 syn) mixed beans, low fat mayo (1 syn).

S - 2 ginger oatcakes (4 syns). 1 low fat Greek yogurt. (1 syn), options (2 syns)

T - pasta bake, cheese (Hexa) salmon, salad.

Anyone advise on takeaway?

Going to a friend's house tomorrow night and the original plan was that we would get a Chinese so I was going to have chicken and blaxk bean sauce with boiled rice which is 10syns per 550g but didn't want to weigh it in friends house so was just planning a small portion and I was happy with that.

Now everyone has decided they want to order in pizza? Will just be a local one not dominoes so not on the app etc to syn it.

What do I do? Have pizza and accept it will be a gain this week or look odd by getting a Chinese just for me? I want to join in with everyone and it will look odd if I go off to get my Chinese and everyone has pizza but at the same time I've worked so hard this week! Also I'm clearly not going to stop at 1 slice of pizza am I. Oh this is hard.

L: jacket with beans and cheese A and salad
D: gammon 2 chips 3 for oil eggs and peas
Yogurt 1
Snacks: cherry tomatoes, apple & a Jaffa cake 2.5

Another day out and McDonald's lunch has been requested by the kids - I can do free breakfast and dinner but is it possible to have a McD under 15 syns?!

Do you have the SW app? McDonald's is on there. I think chicken nuggets are 1.5.syns each. Maybe a happy meal would be good?

Pizza is prob one of the highest syns tho could get a skinny one so low fat cheese and maybe ham /veggie

Avoid chips and have bag of fruit

Or

Nuggets box of 4 are 6 - 1.5 each plus small chips are 8.5

Or

Chicken bacon salad grilled 1.5 no dressing

yes @Plantsandpuddlesuits pizza is probably the highest takeaway syns wise but as a one off I would just go with it or potentially count calories for the day and try and fit the pizza in that way. I have been known to do that if I know I'll be way over syns, check the cals and it's not usually so bad as it seems Grin

L - chicken and veg broth with toast and butter (HEB, 2 syns)

T - spag bol with cheese (HEA)

S - skinny whip (4.5) aldi quavers (4) a light and free (1/2) and some raspberries

I had a butternut squash pizza base last time we had a Papa John's -.wouldn't recommend but fewer syns.

B - All Bran (Hexb) with banana, blueberries and low fat Greek yogurt

L - Aldi's Slimwell chips, poached egg, mushrooms and tomato. Low fat pot of yogurt (1 syn). Tomato sauce (2 syns)

S - Options hot chocolate (2 syns), orange

T - Leek and potato mash, cheese (Hexa), x3 quorn sausages (6 syns), beans & salad.

Milk for tea & coffee (Hexa)

I meant to use fewer syns today. Had 12.

Aww thanks for thinking ofme @Blondeshavemorefun and @Wilma55 i had a great time at my friends.

There were 8 of us so we got a selection of pizzas. I had 3skices and am pleased with that. And a few chocolates. Went for the chicken ones rather than pepperoni etc so hopefully OK. Host had also done some lovely salad. Host home alcohol free so no one was drinking so I had a diet coke. Even if its a gain this week it was worthwhile, Great to spendtime relaxing with friends.

Plan for today...

B...shredded wheat blueberries raspberries

L....Covent garden butternut squash soup can't remember syns but its very low, shared with DH. Also hoping to make sw egg muffins with ham courgette etc which wi,l do a few days. Melon

D....chilli, rice,sprouts on side

woke up absolutely ravenous this morning so had breakfast for once!

B - wholemeal bagel thin with light cream cheese (HEB, 2 syns) with two big coffees (HEA)

L - same soup as yesterday and crackers (6 syn)

T - chilli, rice, ff yog and cheese (HEA)

S - small slice of birthday cake which is of course syn free Wink

Yesterday didn't go well. SadEmbarrassed how badly it went but feel I need to be accountable and if you can't be honest on here about what I've eaten, then where can I be?! So.....
McDonald's for lunch (cheeseburger & fries & 4 nuggets) and if that wasn't bad enough I ended up having 2 glasses of wine whilst nibbling on some crisps and a slab of cheese on toast later in the evening. Plus chocolate eclair No idea how I can be so good for the past 6 weeks and then one day lose all control. Disaster Sad

Anyway, move on...been for a run and feeling much better about myself and focused to get back on track:
Today I'm allowing just 5 syns so will be:
B weetabix B milk A and blueberries with maple syrup 1
L: jacket and beans with half A cheese and salad
D: spag bol with half A cheese and salad
Sugar free jelly
Snacks: banana, satsuma & apple plus a square of dark choc (yet to be synned but vague recollection of 3 syns)
