B: porridge HEB and milk HEA plus blueberries
L: jacket potato beans and cheese HEA and side salad
D: Got help me but I'm out for drinks & there will be canapes and a buffet Shock
I know I should eat before I go to stop hunger gorging, but I'm also well aware hunger doesn't come in to my inability to stop at a buffet table especially after a few drinks Blush. Will try and make sensible choices (crudités and cold meat rather than cheese & bread) but otherwise going for a run at lunchtime and then writing the night off and straight back on in the morning.

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/01/2022 10:23

Sure one meal won’t make a diff @lechatnoir

If so I’m fucked this week as sat night out and last night kfc

lechatnoir · 27/01/2022 10:26

Also out Saturday night otherwise I'd agree. Have you done speed days? I used to always add a couple of speed days when I knew I was going out and consistently lost so might need to refresh my memory on how that works. Is it reduced syns and only speed rather than free food? so not starchy veg, pasta etc Might be worth considering @Blondeshavemorefun

JingleAndTonic · 27/01/2022 10:39

Jesus that is a lot of syns!! I'll have a small portion and call it 4 syns then fill BFs plate high as he doesn't need to be on a diet lol, thank you all for checking! I'm sure for a one off meal it won't do too much damage and it'll be tasty but in future i'll go back to buying the 3% fat mince and chucking a couple of low fat sausages into it Grin

ihavespoken · 27/01/2022 11:58

Oh lush! I have just found this thread.. can I join please?
I am trying to get my head round maintaining which is harder than I thought. I do tend to get stuck in a rut with the same things so have got the Pinch of Nom books from Aldi and am trying new things.

Off to read the thread now for some new ideas Smile

ihavespoken · 27/01/2022 12:03

@JingleAndTonic

whole weekend was a write off tbh Grin hopefully not done too much damage!

well done staying away from the cake and crisps @MummyInTheNecropolis I don't have your willpower!

@lechatnoir I often try to stick to 10 syns during the week so I can have a more guilt-free weekend and it works most of the time!

L - low fat supernoodles (2) with toast (HEB and 2 syns for butter)

T - spag bol with cheese (HEA) and maybe a wee garlic bread (4.5 syns)

S - apple, babybel (part HEA, using the other half for milk in tea/coffee) strawbs and choc shot (1/2)

Low fat supernoodles.. 2 syns!! how did I not know this :O I flipping love supernoodles as well
Blondeshavemorefun · 27/01/2022 14:05

@lechatnoir no never done speed days

Heres my plan for today.... First day of my fresh start as a group member

I'm going out for a coffee so hopefully saving my hex a for that so can't have my usual breakfast of porridge as that would use my hex a. Also means I have a hex b to use later. Here goes!

Breakfast... mushroom omlette with 3 eggs but o my ate half the eggs really. Tea. Large water.

Snack....decaff latte hex a

Lunch...am out so hopefully having baked potato beans and salad. Water and probably tea.

Dinner....fishy Friday here so m and s lightly dusted haddock 4 syns I think. M and s spicy rice 2 syns. Steamed veg... brocolli, baby corn, green beans. Sprouts possibly.

Have bought some cans of diet coke to try to replace my Friday night gin and tonic / red wine. Hmmm. Will probably have a hifi bar aswell as won't have used my hex b. Possibly a small measure of popcorn will see

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/01/2022 09:16

Sounds good @Plantsandpuddlesuits

Eggs for breakie are good and fill me up

ihavespoken · 28/01/2022 09:17

@Blondeshavemorefun I always eat 15 syns and lost weight with it, I tend to use them in meals for oil, extra cheese etc though and not too many as snacks, not sure if that makes any difference?

Lost 1lb this week woop!

Yesterday I had
Overnight oats
Prawns cooiscous and veg
Pinch of nom dirty macaroni (used HA for the cheese)
Other HA was milk for tea, HB was porridge for o. Oats

Fruit
Cottage cheese
Celebrations twirl

Wilma55 · 28/01/2022 10:45

I find it hard to use my 2nd hex A unless I have a cheese topped dinner. (Use one for milk) This morning I tried cheese 🔺️ on toast which I liked so might have that sometimes.

JingleAndTonic · 28/01/2022 11:10

welcome @ihavespoken and yes low fat supernoodles are so good! only 50p in sainsbos Grin

1lb off for me this morning, the mince can't have done too much damage lol

b - coffee and a cheese twist, not had one for months it was delicious

l - leftover picadillo nachos with cheese

t - creamy lentil curry, rice, poppadoms and naan

a healthy day all round, not! at least i'm making my own curry instead of a takeaway

Blondeshavemorefun · 28/01/2022 11:39

@ihavespoken where I use them as salad cream crisps choc bar and butter sometimes

Will try and eat 15 daily and see if makes a diff

Happy wirh a lb a week tho this week was 2 but last week. .5

Heres today's plan....

Out for dinner tonight for tapas so not very on plan at all. Will be wine aswell!

Breakfast....fruit and flavoured fat free greek yogurt 1 syn

Lunch.... thinking mushroom omlette

Dinner... thinking patatas bravas might not be too bad. And I think they do chicken and prawn skewers. Olives and feta? We shall see.

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 29/01/2022 09:12

Tomorrow's plan....

Brunch.....we got some lovely looking large field mushrooms in our veg box so thinking of oven baking those with some (free) Linda McCartney sausages. And poached eggs

Dinner.... homemade turkey meatballs (free) in tomato sauce (free if I manage to make my own). Children will have spaghetti but I'm debating doing roasted veg with mine instead to try and claw back onto plan after today's meal out.

Blondeshavemorefun · 29/01/2022 10:56

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 30/01/2022 16:56

For today's brunch we changed it slightly from what I had planned so Instead of Linda McCartney sausages, field mushrooms and poached eggs I did the SW egg wraps and put the sausages in with a bit of brown sauce then wrapped in tinfoil like a burrito so easier to eat. Flipping lovely! Would really recommend for an on plan weekend treat!

lechatnoir · 30/01/2022 17:08

Big night out last night and nursing a hangover....gets harder not to snack as the day goes on Sad.
B: mushrooms, beans, Linda McCartney sausage, egg & toast HEB

L: speed soup

D: fatal I know but not decided!!!

Lots of coffee HEA quavers 4.5 & 2 fingers of mini twix 5 each so literally only have a syn left. Might make a carbonara type pasta as I've got another A so could have parmesan & eggs are free plus side salad...
