@Plantsandpuddlesuits that's the way to go, it all adds up to make a difference! when i fall off the wagon and need to get back on i try and just focus on meals and think well if i have the odd snack then i've still got my meals sorted compared to a diet of beige Grin

L - cheese sandwich (HEA, HEB, 1/2 syn mayo) quavers (4) and a nectarine

T - same as yesterday the picadillo

S - apple, pomegranate and skinny dream peanut bar (4.5 so good taste like a proper treat)

Wilma55 · 25/01/2022 19:45

No sorry @Plantsandpuddlesuits I haven't. Looks good though.

B ff yogurt with frozen berries free
L 2 low fat sausages in sandwich 4 syns hex B
D haggis 7 syns, free veg
Milk hex a
Benefit bar 3 syns
V v v small wine 3.5 syns

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 25/01/2022 19:59

Today's meals....

Breakfast....half a portion of porridge for half hex b
Greek yogurt 1syn over chopped banana and melon

Lunch....m and a count on us hunters chicken and wedges. Not the best tbh.

Snack....1 hifi bar for the other half of hex b. Is this splitting allowed?!

Dinner.....not sure on syns if anyone can advise but it was chicken sausages from the butcher's. They are literally minced chicken and herbs so I'm assuming low syn..no fat comes out of them. Pasta and stir through sauce will check later but from memory it's 3 syns. Sweetcorn and spinach through the pasta aswell.

Treat....skinny whip bar 5 syns

Debating an option hot choc when children asleep

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/01/2022 20:01

No @Wilma55. What is it

Think Aldi chicken sausages are 1 tho skinny so maybe a fat chicken sausage is 3. Blondes drools p

@Plantsandpuddlesuits

Has anyone tried the keema recipe from the current magazine? Debating doing it on the weekend
Not seen that yet but I love keema so be interested to know what it's like.

My day has seen a few syns more than I posted earlier (time of the month) quavers 4.5, yogurt 0.5 and popcorn 3.5g plus banana, satsuma & a few crab sticks.

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 25/01/2022 22:23

Keema is in current magazine.

Haven't got it to hand but I think it's beef mince, ginger, garlic, curry powder, passata, potatoes and peas. It sounds good anyway!

Blondeshavemorefun · 25/01/2022 22:29

So like a shepherd pie 😂😂

JingleAndTonic · 26/01/2022 11:21

I've made a very similar recipe from slimming eats @Plantsandpuddlesuits and loved it!

L - cheese and ham sandwich (HEA, HEB, 1/2 syn mayo) apple, quavers (4 as always share with the dog) and a light and free yog (1/2 syn)

T - creamy salmon pasta (2 syns for creme fraiche i believe, 3 for white wine)

S - pomegranate, nectarine, skinny dream

lechatnoir · 26/01/2022 11:56

B: smoked salmon eggs and spinach on toast HEB and milky coffee HEA
L: courgette and Parmesan (HEA) fritters plus side salad 0.5for dressing & yogurt 0.5
D: chicken rendang with green beans and rice - 10 syns (coconut cream but so worth worth it)
Snacks: fruit plus saving the rest for after dinner popcorn 3.5syns for 13g bag

I've add the keema to my meal planner list and @Blondeshavemorefun you're not wrong about shepherds pie just with curry flavours Grin

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 26/01/2022 12:40

Yes sounds like a curry shepherd pie 🤣

Will let you all know if I make it!

Heres today....

Bfast 1 Weetabix and blueberries (half hex b)

Snack hifi other half hex b

Lunch jacket potato, tuna, low fat mayo, sweetcorn, onion, spinach.

Dinner.... chicken curry with mushrooms and courgette in. Spinach on the side. And rice. Trying to resist the kids naan bread! Need to scan curry jar for syns

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 27/01/2022 08:42

Heres today

Breakfast....shreddies and blueberries. Banana

Lunch....will pick up something at m and s after playgroup. Thinking some cold chicken, a small veggie sushi I think it's 1.5 syns will check and a pot of fruit

I'm joining group tonight so will have dinner after that. M and s count on us meal.

JingleAndTonic · 27/01/2022 09:07

Ooh we wouldn't ever put anything tomatoey in our cottage/shepherd's pie around these parts, always gravy! The keema curry is nice though makes a fine change for mincey stuff.

L - pasta n sauce (2.5) quavers (4) and an apple

T - spag bol, think there will be syns as using the aldi pork and beef mince mix, it doesn't look fatty but assuming because of the pork? does anyone know the syn value? and making a garlic bread out of pitta (HEB) and cheese of course (HEA)

S - probably fruit and a skinny dream peanut bar (4.5)

Plantsandpuddlesuits · 27/01/2022 09:14

Is there a fat percentage on the mince @JingleAndTonic?

Blondeshavemorefun · 27/01/2022 09:28

@JingleAndTonic if 5%free. If not then 8.5 s per 100g sp guessing a 450g so mince is 38.5s 😱😱😱😱😱 so if cooking 4 portions be 9.5

Hope it’s the 5% one lol
