Following for ideas!

Debating giving up (see my previous thread) for a variety of reasons but don't really want to give up. It's a long story.

Anyway here's my meal plan for the day. I think it comes in at 12 syns. 5 for houmous and 7 for curry sauce

Breakfast.... shreddies and banana
Snack.....decaff latte
Lunch small sushi tub carrots with houmous and then melon chunks
Dinner was meant to be chicken korma with extra veg (7 syns for sauce).but I couldn't find the chicken so it was tinned green lentils with peppers mushrooms and curry sauce. And half cauli rice half normal rice. A very veg heavy dinner!

T - fajita chicken, free as it's the sainsbos seasoning in a jar, with onions and peppers, SW chips, cheese (HEA) ff yog and salsa (2)

S - apple and cheese (HEA)

low on syns because i was doing so well yesterday then found myself polishing off the tub of ice cream i had, so making up for it today. at least now it's gone and no longer a temptation!

MummyInTheNecropolis · 16/10/2021 22:16

Thursday

Hi Blondes and everyone else - Blondes we know each other, I used to be Trimmer. This is a great idea.

I started Slimming World again today; joined a group, have piled on the weight following comfort eating, snacking etc. I will post what I eat tomorrow as starting properly. I know what I am planning.

Blondeshavemorefun · 30/10/2021 19:12

LightandAiry · 31/10/2021 19:20

My DD has a job in a local brasserie and brings home chocolate brownies. I was very restrained!

Wilma55 · 01/11/2021 08:20

lightandairy be careful if you are buying frylight it ruins your pans. I use ordinary oil in a spray which is 5 sprays for 1/2 syn.

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/11/2021 09:17

I’ve never had a problem with fry light ruining my pans

OP posts:
Wilma55 · 01/11/2021 10:00

Oh OK it was just something I heard on a ww group

Weedsorwishes · 01/11/2021 14:34

I found frylight ruined my pans it took the non stick off then so I just use an olive oil spray now

Wilma55 · 01/11/2021 16:01

B oats and milk hexa and hex b
L veg soup free
D roast chicken with lemon & tarragon (on app) (free)
Gravy 2 syns
Cake 4 syns
Cough sweets 3 syns
Milk for drinks hexa

LightandAiry · 01/11/2021 18:10

I used fry light at dinner but I prefer olive oil.

Wilma the spray oil would cut the syns down. What do you usually use?

Anyway here is Day 3:
B Scrambled eggs and avocado (7 syns) on toast (HEB)
L cous cous salad topped with cheese (HEA)
D mixed bean chilli with brown rice
Snack: large apple
Milk in tea & coffee (HEA)

Wilma55 · 01/11/2021 19:19

lightandairy I either measure out olive oil or use spray olive oil (sainsburys). Miss the taste of butter though!
