Morning.
2nd weigh day and lost 4lbs!?
So that's 7 in 2 weeks. Chuffed to bits with that. I have had a lot of speed this week and drank much more water.

@Blondeshavemorefun hopefully restrictions have eased somewhat by may with it being warmer and the majority of the most vulnerable vaccinated, fingers crossed

@wildthingsinthenight that's amazing well done you!!

i've lost 1lb, happy with that, i'd like to lose a stone by easter so if i can keep up with 1lb a week on average then it'll be a stone at easter weekend

B - chocolate porridge with banana and strawberries and a teaspoon of jam (2 syns, HEA, HEB)

L - going to try and make my own supernoodles, wish me luck 😂

T - DM is making a chicken dhansak with rice, poppadom and garlic naan (it will be approx 10 syns total i reckon) and i'm going to try and find a low syn onion bhaji recipe

S - apple, cheese (HEA) maybe some chocolate as a treat!

Ah that is so annoying @Blondeshavemorefun, hopefully it'll be gone by next week

My plans have changed, the homemade supernoodles were disgusting so had cheese and biscuits, wotsits and a freddo instead..

Also the curry has been delayed until tomorrow so tonight is a southern fried chicke burger with chips.

Just going to write today off!!

Forgot to say I chucked rest of veg soup - or aka pea soup - just couldn’t eat it

Will look for bns and carrot frozen veg tom when shopping

I do like soup but no point making it with veg I dislike

Who eats pea soup anyway 🙀🙀😂

Forgot to come on yesterday!
B was w/m roll hex 2 fried eggs, 2 veggie sausages, ketchup 1/2 syn.
L- jacket potato, left over taco mince, cheese hex salad cream 1/2 syn salad

Then we got some good news about MIL's house sale ( been going on since lockdown 1.0) completed/exchanged. So pleased.
So had a Wagamama takeaway to celebrate and 2 vodka and diet cokesGrin No syns counted! Day written off.

Hope everyone has a good Saturday. Are you all in UK? Just nosy.

i was trying to make a syn free version @Blondeshavemorefun but they were egg noodles and all i could taste was egg it was just rank and they went in the bin in the spirit of not eating foods you don't like! will just use syns in the future 😂

i'm in the uk, on the east coast of scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

L - wholemeal muffin (HEB) with bacon, cheese (HEA), tomato sauce (1/2) and a potato waffle (2?) so good

T - chicken dhansak (DM says no oil but there's sugar so think 2 syns), rice, syn free bhaji and naan (8 i think but it's a very large piece)

S - a jam tea cake (5) and i'm going to make some banana bread so will naturally have to taste it, was 2.5 syns a slice if i remember right!

Jingle My lovely Grandad was from Leith
No snow here. Had a bit of sun earlier so ventured out for a walk.

Strange day food wise so far

1pm so lunch really- omelette, tomatoes, veggie sausages, hash browns and toast.
Had planned on Aldi mango and coconut chicken with sw chilps and salad but couldn't find the chicken.
Got a fajita stir fry but it is 8 syns so not having that!
So not sure yetConfused
Hate it when I don't know what I fancy!

@wildthingsinthenight i have a few friends from leith! i'm a bit further north, near aberdeen, but it's handy when we go to edinburgh having some of their family to stay with! when trips are allowed ha

shame about the mango chicken it sounds amazing, m&s do similar i think they're 2 syns each and we bbq it in the summer, lovely

DM's curry was worth the wait! back to behaving myself now

I ended up having spicy taco mince with beans, rice and salad. Didn't enjoy it though!
Then later fruit and yoghurt.
Disappointing day food wise. Felt a bit bored. Have some better plans for tmrw though!

Grrr I feel really cross today, I just feel like I'm getting nowhere.
Im so good with my meals I'm not drinking and then I go and mess it up with all the picking and sweet rubbish.
I decided to try and be like these people who have a couple of squares of dark chocolate so I bought a bar of 85% cocoa chocolate.
I ate the whole bar.
Waaah I just have no self control. Grin
So I've gained a pound despite eating steamed everything on my Japanese takeaway last night and not having a glass of wine.
Tonight fil is coming over (in our bubble) to watch the football and they're all getting a take away curry I'm not. Partly for weight but also because I'm having a root canal tomorrow and don't want to stink of takeaway for the dentist.
So I've just put a lamb, aubergine and chickpea stew in the slow cooker. I've not made it before so will report back other than that I shall be eating dust.Wink
