I bought some Morrison's meat free sausages, thinking they'd be free or half a syn or something, but they are 2 syns each and taste grim, no way can I kid myself I'm eating a proper sausage! Anyway they were only a quid and my husband will eat them - with fried egg, on a white bread and butter sandwich - he hasn't changed shape since I met him aged 26, the swine!

Today I've had scrambed egg with onions and tomatoes on a HEX thin, and I'm making a Quorn mince chilli for lunch.

My weigh in day is Tuesday, and I'm already in panic mode. I had one week where I lost nothing at all, and that was awful, I was so tempted to go and drown myself in a vat of chocolate - but I resisted, and the next week I'd lost 6lb. The human body is indeed a funny old thing.

@ChanandlerBongsNeighbour congratulations on 4.5lbs off - someone in the group I go to lost 15lbs the first week Shock She was 23 stone to start with though, and I think the heavier you are, the more you lose the first week - although I am probably wrong.

Have a good Sunday everyone! Cake

Groovee · 05/02/2017 12:02

Tried porky lights. They are really good for a sausage.

Also got Heck chicken Italia. They would be lovely in salads.

dancemom · 05/02/2017 12:07

Thank you!
Just need to keep the motivation when the weight loss slows down....

Emmageddon · 05/02/2017 12:17

Where do they sell the Heck range of sausages? I've heard great things about them.

Right, I'm off to do some Body Magic by walking the dog before lunch. Good luck everybody, stay on plan if you can and all that Flowers

OwlinaTree · 05/02/2017 12:24

They have some heck sausages in my Morrisons.

Groovee · 05/02/2017 13:16

Tesco, asda and Morrisons have them here.

I'm struggling to get super fruiti yoghurts. Only Tesco and Morrisons have them. But very little stock and only strawberry.

Frouby · 05/02/2017 13:38

Morning all

Am so glad you posted about how long your loss has taken Em. Mine is slow and steady too and also had 4st to get to target. Was feeling a bit meh about it all but 17 months isn't that long. I would be near enough target in august to be happy anyway.

Just had a part baked roll with hm egg and salad cream. Norty as it was white but very nice. And had plenty of salad with it too. Tea is left over chilli with a jacket potato and more salad. Hifis for B choice.

ALemonyPea · 05/02/2017 15:04

Hahaha look what you've started! Steakgate. 😁

There is also a new sausage made by Debbie and Andrews which is half a syn, it's part meat part legume, and chilli con carne flavour. I want to try them, but need to eat the masses of porky lights that I have in my freezer first.

Groovester · 05/02/2017 15:19

I can't stop eating today!

B - Pineapple and watermelon
Brunch - poached eggs on toast with side of tomatoes.
Lunch (that I wasn't going to have as had had brunch!) Chicken, salad and warm potato salad.
Apple

This is what I've had until now...

Dinner - Moroccan chicken with couscous and side of green beans.

Confused
BasinHaircut · 05/02/2017 15:35

So it's YOU that is hogging all the porky lights then lemony! Grin

I've been using Linda McCartney ones and I really don't mind them. Obviously don't taste like meat though, but they are syn-free.

Who is weighing tomorrow? I'm tomorrow evening and I'm quietly confident on a loss this week.

LavenderRains · 05/02/2017 15:55

Porky lights are lovely! I found mine in Costco and split them into bags of 3 just for meGrin
didn't have breakfast today.
D: toast and grapes (hexB)
T; roast chicken dinner. I'm synning gravy and stuffing and honey glazed parsnips.
have got mango and have discovered frozen cherries which are lovely (once thawed)
Why are all the fruits I like not speed??!!

The most I've ever lost is 7lb in my first week, I've had 2,3,4's and maintained. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to itConfused

Good luck everyone weighing in tomorrow. Mine is Wed Flowers

ALemonyPea · 05/02/2017 16:54

Yes it's me, I have them all. I bought two packs of 18 at Costco and have portioned them out into packs of three sausages. Will last me a good while.

I'm also having a hungry day. Could easily nosedive into a family sized packet of crisps.

OP posts:
Emmageddon · 05/02/2017 17:18

ALemonyPea stay away from the crisps!!

If someone could invent zero-calorie pies, crisps and chocolate, they would be a millionaire before the month is out. Grin

I used up 4.5 syns on a packet of sugar-free Tunes Shock 4.5 syns, I could have had something halfway decent for that!! I don't understand why Tunes are 4.5 and Aldi sugar-free sweets are only half a syn, for the same size packet and very similar ingredients.

ALemonyPea · 05/02/2017 17:24

I think the big shots at SW should come up with crisps that can be a HEB, or crackers or popcorn. Something us savoury folk like.

OP posts:
SpaghettiMeatballs · 05/02/2017 17:36

I've been hungry today too! I think it's because I didn't have any speed at lunchtime.

B: scrambled eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms. 1 syn for 1/2 teaspoon butter in eggs.
L: beans on HEXB toast and a Liberté honey yoghurt. 3.5 syns including 2 for butter.

Had DC's friends over so couldn't be bothered to add speed and I've really noticed it. I've just had to have a mug shot and some fat free yoghurt and fruit.

Dinner is Butt casserole with loads of veg in it and mange tout. 2 syns for chirizo

I'll have a Freddo tonight to end on 11 syns

Even though I'm within plan I feel I've eaten too much with a whole extra meal.

Groovee · 05/02/2017 18:27

I can't eat without a horrendous feeling of feeling sick 🤢

LynsW77 · 05/02/2017 19:08

hello Good evening all 😊 I've been attempting SW online for the last year and managed to gain an extra half a stone 😂 My fault totally, trying to mix and mash other 'diets' and ongoing wonderful health issues.. But I've been re-motivated this week by a friend who is doing brilliantly at a new club, and I'm cashing in the remainder of my online subscription for 6wks of vouchers. First meeting will be next Saturday but I intend to get back into it this week to get my head around it a little! I've got around 2.5 stones to lose and I know I can do it - SW is how I lost my baby weight 13 years ago...
Looking forward to chatting with you all, I've enjoyed reading through this thread this evening xx

Groovee · 05/02/2017 19:13

Welcome Lyns x

Groovester · 05/02/2017 19:35

LavenderDoll · 05/02/2017 19:45

I'm fairly new to slimmimg world. Have 4st to lose... lost 9lb so far.

ALemonyPea · 05/02/2017 19:46

Welcome Lyns.

Hope you feel,better soon Groovee.

DH annoys the hell out of me. He reckons he wants to lose a stone, I have a stone to target, so now wants to race me to that stone. He loses weigh so easily, all he has to do is eat breakfast and he can lose weight 😠

OP posts:
BasinHaircut · 05/02/2017 19:57

Is that the reflux groovee?

Welcome new posters!

lyns I did SW at home last year with DH and whilst we did OK, I really think that going to be weighed by someone else, knowing it will be read out is quite the incentive! It's really helping keep me on track so I think you are making the right move.

DH won't go to group but loses weight by default as I buy and cook all the food in this house.

Just waiting for dinner and I'm hungry. As someone else said earlier I haven't eaten enough speed today either. Got plenty on the dinner though, in the form of carrots and cabbage. Rest of dinner is lamb shank and honey roasted parsnips. 4 syns for the whole dinner. Can't wait.

Groovee · 05/02/2017 20:06

Basin yes. Last time I found stodge helped. But I don't fancy stodge now.

BasinHaircut · 05/02/2017 20:37

That's rough groovee hopefully you can find something you fancy.

Dinner was epic, had to add some cornflour to the gravy so up to 5 syns

Today was one of the hardest days I've had since rejoining, a real test of my willpower but I think I passed!

We went to my friend's house for her daughter's birthday. There were crisps, sweets and biscuits everywhere! My friend ordered pizza for everyone but I managed to resist and had the mugshot I'd brought with me. Then we took the kids to the local ice cream parlour which does the best waffles and pancakes in the world! I managed to resist, though I did have one small bite of birthday cake and 2 teaspoons of DD's ice cream. I'm not sure how to syn that though? All in all, this is what I had today:

B - scrambled eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms

L - mugshot, fruit bag and a bag of pufts (3.5)

D - lamb steak with lots of vegetables and tomato relish (2)

S - one bite of cake, 2 tsps of ice cream, apple
